| With Penny Wong holding a profile position within the party and Govt, it would appear extremely hypocritical of them not to at least condone same sex marriages. I have no dramas with it but i gotta agree chucker - if thats a priority for them as we come out of financially troubling times then any step forward will be countered with one back. |

| The Labor party is also looking at legalizing same sex marriages . The issue of gay rights is emerging as a flashpoint at Labor's three-day national conference in Sydney. Gay and lesbian groups are angry Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has publicly rebuffed moves to relax his party's policy on civil unions and same-sex marriage. But they are confident some progress will be made when the party's policy is debated tomorrow morning. Mr Rudd has been at pains to make sure Labor's national conference is low-key and business-like. But behind the scenes there is manoeuvring which could undermine his stage-managed dream. Pink politicos are on the prowl. | Read something the other day about the young Labor wing wanting to criminalise smoking in the nesr future. I havent had a ciggy in almost 2yrs now but if that happens then im turning full blown socialist. Seriously, what hope has the Labor future got if these tools think in this inane fashion? Probably go to the same church group as Rudd. 'Bloody do gooders'. |

| Revenge is sweet. Melrose drive, Tullamarine Vic. January 16 2006, 1435 hours. Highway patrol pulls over a workcover inspector for travelling at 68kph in a 60kph zone. Workcover inspector says nothing and accepts the $120.00 fine. Policeman finishes writting the ticket and procedes back to his car. Workcover inspector gets his digital camers out and photograph's the policeman, then procedes to the policemans car - and issues the police officer an $800.00 fine for not wearing his hi-visibilty safety vest when leaving his vehicle in a high-traffic area. | Jut watching the CH7 show "Worlds strictest parents". With the youth of today acting the way these spoilt brats are is it any wonder why crime, drug use, and the road toll is high for the under 25's. |

| i couldnt give a shyte about the swine flu, as long as you dont have a medical condition then you should be fine. If i was to get it, i'd take some tamiflu and i should be right as rain!
