| Teams like Ireland, Holland and the Afghans have ODI status though, so Zimbabwe aren't exactly elevated above them in that regard. |

The ICC is dominated by the Asian countries. They see Zimbabwe as fodder for Tendulkar and Murali and co to extend their records and improve their averages, whilst paying for their vote at the ICC elections for the Asian agenda.
Zimbabwe should have been thrown out of the ICC as soon as Heath Streak and the Flowers were forced to leave ten years ago.
You cant tell me that Ireland would do any worse than Zimbabwe at the moment. |

All out 44.
Zimbabwe are barely a 1st grade side, the ICC are a disgrace. |

All out 44! I don't know what the pitch is like, but it can't be THAT bad.
Bangers could/should cruise to their most comprehensive win ever. Good luck to them too. |

Last look, Zimbabwe were 9/39 against the all-powerful BANGLADESH!
Such a shame what Mugabe has done to Zimbabwe cricket. They were finding their feet at international level, even producing some high quality players like the Flowers, Streak, Blignaut and Olonga.
Now they are a rabble - and I can't see them getting better in the near future. Ireland and Kenya will surpass them before long. |
