Just wanna run something by. While i have a degree of empathy towards Trescothic and genuinely hope he eventually gets on top of this condition long term, there was something that struck me as, shall we say somewhat intersting the other night.
While backing up a throw at the stumps, Tresco failed to cleanly grab the ball and copped it in the gonads straight up. Ouch at the best of times but this time he was wired for sound and had the commentators straight in his ear about it.
Now, call me off the mark if you want but is this not one of the more innappropriate situations to place a guy in the limelight - again.
Maybe a little too embarrassing in the grand scheme of things, something that to someone without a history of depression may be easily dismissed but to someone with said history may be a very big moment and trigger something quite undesired?
Just a thought.

I see That Tresco has been sent home from the Champions Trophy because of his depression illness.

He really does suffer when he is abroad.

Poor guy.
