Re:Australia Vs England Lion Reply to this message
Getting the ball to reverse inside 11 overs is awesome...It would be sweet irony if we start teaching the poms a thing or two about reverse swing this series!!

Here comes the age of AUSSIE dominance all over again.of the game.Lee ,Johnson,Hughes ,all seem to have been in touch at some point in England. The poms will be crying in their warm beers.Plus some very talented youth to come.

I wouldn't be getting too carried away just yet

I doubt he'll give too much opposition to having the innings declared.
Just go out and start taking wickets.

Re:Australia Vs England Lion Reply to this message
Well, officially it "was" injury related...in the books it will go down as retired hurt. So will the aussies give North a chance to get to 200 or will they bowl straight away? My money is on bowling straight away...

Re:Australia Vs England Lion Reply to this message
How very nice to give Haddin a bat, dont see too many non injury related retirements these days, even in warm up games.

1/2 way down the order with a much bigger prize next week - why chase a result. Its practice time!

Re:Australia Vs England Lion Reply to this message
By the look of things punter is not chasing a result but instead is going to give his boys time in the middle to get their eyes in and come back into form. Then not over play his bowlers.

Re:Australia Vs England Lion Reply to this message
if bopara has any chinks in his armour, the aussies will soon
expose them.

but he does deserve a chance, to see if he can cut it at
this level.

Re:Australia Vs England Lion Reply to this message
Interesting that you say that loki and nye (about Bopara). I'm living in the UK at the moment and the guys I speak to on a daily basis really DON'T want him in the side, you would have thought they were West Indies supporters when he was scoring those tons! Apparently he is not sound enough technically for the no. 3 spot and playing against a weak Windies side who very obviously don't want to play test cricket is nothing like playing against Australia in an Ashes series. But we will see!

Re:Australia Vs England Lion Reply to this message
Harmi is bowling very well tho but seems to get tired too easy then loses his line and length so that may cost him a spot..one thing for sure is on the final day in this tour match he will stake his claim.

Whatever the sides and whatever the result, there's one thing I will confidently predict.
There's gonna be one helluva lot of chin music flying about.
