So far.

I got real sick grom that farkin morphene clicker. I spewed and had a headache that would kill a brown dog. As soon as they took me off it this morning I started to get better.

Stunned as how junkies use drugs.

Hi all I am back from the trip to the bone doctor.

My appologies to you chucker as I asked him to remove the chip off my shoulder but he took the chips out of my shoulder.

Back to cricket. Who was that pom that criticised me for nominating "The MONTY"? Wow what a sport Monty is? The way he appeals and skip leaps into the air. He is a true character and I am happy to see him in the Ashes side.

I watched the broadcast lastnight and here we go again I am happy to say that Brad Haddin did not let me down with his improved glovework. I just hope he carries the bat in the right hand and scores a double century for us.

Apologies, I was only joking about the nancy boys, I know you don't like any discrimination due to sexuality there

I saw Katich playing in Beckenham a couple of years ago, he was very solid, very technically correct, made a good 60 odd quickly in a 20:20 game without slogging once, hit the ball very hard

I still remember him geting out at Trent Bridge in 2005 , I was there and the crowd jeered him off when he moaned all the way back to the pavilion, even if it was pitched a long way outside leg stump

Ponting is a determined man, with talent to back it up, England need a tough captain like him or a Graeme Smith or Fleming type

England could be under pressure after tomorrow, but this Test could turn again, the best matches do, Australia have to bat last.

Re:Ashes 2009 Reply to this message
I will just add though, my pro-Hilfy bias is not a Tasmanian thing (that's just a bonus), it is a swing bowler thing. I was always a big fan of Flem and have been bemused by the lack of movement the Aussie attack has possessed for some time.

Hilfy, Bolly and anyone else who can hoop it, get me very 'excited' (not in a bar-up and get sticky way though) :P

What's more, these two can swing it all day, at 140kph. We've seen the damage the likes of Sharma, Zaheer, Steyn and Jones have done in world cricket - we'd be crazy not to embrace similar exponents of swing in Australia.

IMO, a lethal bowling attack should include a decent swing bowler, a decent spinner, a genuine quick and at least one leftie. So, IMO, the Hilfy, Siddle, MJ combo gives us three of them, leaving the spinner as our liability.

Why, oh why, couldn't MacGill have been 10 years younger?!!

Re:Ashes 2009 Reply to this message
Bias? Maybe, but he was easily the best of the bowlers, and he was unlucky at times - that lbw shout on KP, the Clarke dropped catch, the numerous balls that passed the edge.

I just think that 2 wickets is not a fair return for that display.

I was very pleased Siddle took those 2 late in the day, his figures are a disgraceful representation of how well he bowled.

I think these last 3 wickets should go 2 to Hilfy and 1 to Siddle if the scorecard is to be fair (I know, it rarely works out that way, does it!).

I hope Ponting gives 'Benny the Hilf' the chance to knock over the tail, he deserves 4 or 5 for his work yesterday.
