i don't think there's any great panic just yet! It's just that these guys are a) current IPL players and b) topping the IPL charts.
Why not have them play? I thought the World Cup was supposed to be the best players from around the world.
Without these guys in it it looks pretty second rate compared to the IPL. |

And their hypothetical inclusion is a valid point but it would never happen at the expense of Ponting and Clarke.
The anointed ones are exempt fropm threat of demotion while theyre performing in 1 form or another of the game. |

| I don't know how we got this thread to where it's at, but I know one thing. We've got the worst bowlers in the 20/20 bar none. Jeezus they were hopeless, and Lee should have been on the plane instead of Roy. Never mind, it'll all be over for Oz soon, the teapickers will thrash them. |
