Or the Andrew Symonds VB talking doll this summer
phrases like
" You're a piece of ****, sheepshagger"
"What did you call me, you obnoxious weed"
"Go and get ****ed, Pup, I only had a couple"

Even i gave up the turps early this year so if i can do it he can do it.

Plus the fact that kero was 18c cheaper per litre than turps. :P

no sponsor will want near him

Beg to differ, Loki
XXXX Beach cricket will sign him up in a flash.
Expect to see Haydos, Bichel and Symonds line up with AB for the Aussies and seriously kick butt this summer on Coolangatta beach.

anybody note the irony in ponting's press conference?

Blazing headlines about alcohol issues and smack in the middle of his forhead is the 'VB' logo.

<<<He has to fly back home seated between Boon and Big Merv.>>>

Wouldnt want to be sitting behind that row of seats, youd want the ruddy oxygen mask to drop then and there.

I dont know if it'll ever get that low but call some pall bearers for his international cricket coffin.
His advertising appeal is zero now, no sponsor will want near him, his Qld spot will come under serious review over the next few months and he could end up a grade attraction on 2nd rate parks - which wont help the alcohol consumption issue any.
Not that im jumping the gun at all.

He might be in the line up to Terminal 5 at Heathrow, but that's about it. Hope he doesn't stay because I need to go and get some beers tomorrow for a BBQ.

Re:Symonds gone back home to go fishing? Reply to this message
So Sutherland has basically said that the offences, (breaches of team rules)in isolation, were minor but in the context of promises that Symonds made to his team mates and management, that they were significant and now "the final straw".
The last 3 words were a quote and pretty damning.

No good bringing in Cosgrove coz some spectators would turn up in chicken outfits which will put him right off his game..

Speaking of chicken outfits who's in the England line up?

They could replace one addictive personality with another and bring in Cosgrove.
The publics safe with him unless they go for a chicken wing in his vicinity.

Re:Symonds gone back home to go fishing? Reply to this message
Apparently hes admitted to Sutherland that he has alcohol and anger management issues when questioned over the incident.
One thing to acknowledge that - another entirely to do something about it.
