wp; Tooheys mate!

ITS ALL GOOD!

If I can't take a joke made at my expense then I shouldn't be posting on these threads and most certainly not be dishing it out to the other guys here.

As I said Tooheys mate!

Nev, I shouldn't worry about it. If someone has tried to clone you, consider it a mark of respect.

Hargh farkin hargh to the funny troll trying to make fun of me by starting up a new ID and claiming to be female you truly are in desperate need of a good laugh. You should go to the comedy club and have some fun and let out those inner demons.

I have read MANY postings from English ppl claiming him as one of their own, so there is no double standards from here.If you cant take a "tongue in cheek comment" get off if it upsets u.
===========
Well perhaps these MANY postings of which you speak(although I can't recall any) were tongue in cheek as well.
I really don't know what this fuss is all about. He was offered a place on an England A tour in 1996 which he declined as it would have prevented his potential selection for Australia. He debuted for Aus in 1998.

adrian how are you?

Mate I am fishing for farkwits and catching them by the dozen both on this thread and the NRL site. HAHAHAHA

Oh how quick some people are to bite and take the baite hook, line & stinker hahahahaha

Just sick of deadbeats sticking the knife into someone who has done us proud & yes Symmo has blown his chance but why stick the knife into him?

I guess the old addage of "When you are down and out everyone wants to Scru you

BTW if you are trying to give up alcohol, going on tour with the Aussie cricket team is hardly the answer and so Cricket Australia are very naive in holding Symonds to this almost impossible high standard....

There is nothing wrong with having a few drinks after the game. Some ppl can handle it and some cant. Symmo cant.As for haddin, I dont see him getting pi..ssed and not even bothering to turn up.Symmo loves fishing, well now he will have plenty of time for it wont he?

Chucker - spot on. Any one of the incidents alone may not be that bad (some were though), but combined, CA really had no alternative.

Interesting observation Adrian! :P

Given what I just read from him in the NRL boards, I am amazed he is supporting the West Indian/Englishman - apparently Australia should be kept for Australians only.

The banger game in Cardiff 2005
An argument with Michael Clarke whilst drinking with Brian Lara in the Windies
Missing team training to go fishing
Calling McCullum a piece of **** whilst drunk on air ( during a breakfast show BTW)
It is the constant infringements that have broken the camels back
Symonds was offered a contract with strict criteria and probably told that this was his last chance - he broke the rules within a week.

Re:Symonds gone back home to go fishing? Reply to this message
Haddin's position in the team is for the selectors to decide. If he plays poorly, he will eventually be dropped - but while he is belting 50's and 100's, and making a contribution as a leader, he will keep his place.

His keeping lapses have been greatly reduced of late also.

If Haddin starts to break team rules and develop issues with booze and anger, he won't last anywhere near as long as Roy.
