also, hussey picked up ab's bat for him, he was p!ssing himself laughing at the time but at least he helped out.
Hadn't heard much about warner but boy can that bloke hit a ball!! I don't care if he hasn't played first class cricket, it is obvious that he can play and should be put in the one day squad. |

Re:Twenty 20 v SA (PREVIEW)
someone did go and see if AB was...I am sure it was ponting...but who cares, he got hit in the hip/flank..that is just a stinger...if he were hit in the head I am sure more Aussies would have check to see if he was alright.
Lesson to AB...be very careful stepping infront of a 150+km ball so early in your innings.
That ball was damm nice
************************* ************************* *********
Thought the lesson for AB was to play straight bp, Or not turn your back on the ball. Or wear your thigh guard higher! lol
Questions for SA. Is Tsotsobe international standard? Bowling wasn't much and his batting reminded me of the little kid who stepped out of the way in the nets because he had no pads on. Also, how will they justify bringing Prince back in, in place of Duminy if thats what they do. I think we have seen the next real batting great. |

Yes Punter went up and checked on him
At first viewing, I thought AB was nutted because of the way he went down. |

| Someone did walk up and see how AB was, but was laughing to much to even look remotely serious. That was one killer ball, AB is going to be sore in the morning. |

The result is pretty much meaningless, but there are a few things to take away from this game:
Warner must be put in the ODI squad somewhere - if he only plays one knock like the one he played tonight, it will be worth it
Hilfenhaus swung the ball appreciably in the final overs and finally looks set for a permanent spot in a green shirt
Lack of concern from the Aussies for Ab de Villiers was a bad look
Shaun Tait is going to be entertaining this summer (one way or another) |

That ball from Tait that got AB was absolutely beautiful. It is taught at the teen age to not go down when you are hit - it only fires up the bowler. You could see Ab didnt wanna go down, but he could not stand. To top it off, he fell on his stumps. Incredible.
Makes you wonder... If only he could bowl like that all the time...
Although, I wish someone woulda paid AB some attention, leave the celebrating until you are sure the poor bloke is okay. |

| I should add, McDonald is more than capable in the shorter forms of the game also, and is probably vying with White for a spot. |

Will be very interesting to see who the selectors name for these games after such a tough (and compact) Test series.
Guys like Johnson and Siddle are well due for a rest, which probably means Hilfenhaus and Bracken will get a run. Ponting usually hands over to Clarke for 20/20 also, and there should be some fresh faces in the batting line-up also.
How about this:
Warner
Hughes
Hodge
Clarke
DHussey
White
Ronchi
Krejza
Bracken
Hilfenhaus
Bollinger |

| Yes the guy is an awesome player. Had a bit of luck yesterday when he was bowled from a Tait no-ball, but he knows how to put them away that's for sure. There's a bagfull of players who excell in the 20/20 game, we'll see some really big score I feel. |

Yeah, I think a few new faces will be around the ODI side this summer. Warner is certainly one worth considering.
Though his career is only a few games old, he has already shown an awesome ability to take bowling attacks apart. |

I realise the Test is still going but...
Australia must find a spot for Dave Warner. If there's a more devastating hitter going around in Australian cricket at the moment, I haven't seen him. |
