| vlaclav - what makes you think Ricky would have sent them back in if they were all out without passing the follow on mark? Not many captains enforce the follow on, and if anything with Australia 200 up it would have been the ideal time to bat, pressure off Hayden to perform, Ponting could relax and get off the pair he is on. I would have Hauritz playing ahead of Krejza at the moment while the quicks are unsettled. Krejza is an attacking option, but goes for way too many runs, and that puts the pressure on the quicks to be economical. With Hauritz in the team, he can plug up one end & allow the quicks to operate at the other end trying out things to get the batsmen out. |
