| I'd say outright points are still well and truly up for grabs. Tassie has been batting better in the second innings all year, no reason why they can't run down 300. |

Finally, your NSW hating is not welcome in a thread dedicated to the glory of the men in blue. Especially seeing as you cannot distinguish between "Forrest" and "Hughes".
And clearly neither can you. |

Hello niner, and welcome to the forum for the first time today.
Pumped, you are getting. Rain may delay the inevitable, but rest assured Peter Forrest-Hughes will bat you into submission. |

Bloody conspiracy it is! :P
NSW knew the might of the Tassie bowling attack would be too much, so they brought in a couple of ring-ins for their first games of the season - Bracken and Bollinger!
Really poor batting by the Taswegians, it has been the case all season. No point having a bowling attack that knocks over the opponent for 170 most games when the batting lineup struggles to post 120!
Maybe the Tigers should've made a play for Rogers as a replacement to DiVenuto!
Hughes - a dead cert for a future test spot. I'd have him there abouts now, but behind Rogers and Klinger I suppose. |

PJ Hughes and Usman Khawaja are both as useless as a NOONE pie in the Shakahari.
In two innings each they have managed 4 runs between them.
Its nothing to do with who was mentioned, its that you were wrong.
I thought the thread was about NSW domination?
This is not a question.

Well pardon me for mentioning someone that "you" haven't mentioned.
I thought the thread was about NSW domination? (Rhetorical).
Who'd-a-thunk it? (* thinks aloud *)
NOONE! |

Seeing as i havent mentioned forrest once, i am failing to see how you could have got them confused.
Must have been caught up in the overwhleming rhetoric and various noone references. |

Peter Hughes got 93 in the first innings, and is 31 n.o. in the second.
Facts help when you are trying to improve your argument. |

Why don't they get a real job? |

other player from NSW (what's his name?) - Jaques?
Answering your own question, with another question that contains the answer. And you are going on about a hyphen. Right.
Anyway, Hughes is 19 and is posting huge numbers. He'll get a run no worries. Big scores for NSW always equals a start.
Dave Warner is young too, dunno a whole lot about him, except he can hit real big. Kills grade, but hasn't cracked state yet.
Also, Hurstville is a tiny ground, hence the 250 off 34 over. |

No-one (I don't know who NOONE is but I think he made pies in Melbourne many years ago) will boot Haydos off the team.
If Hughes ever gets a run (and that's a BIG if in my opinion) he'll probably knock out that other player from NSW (what's his name?) - Jaques?
Whilst he is a reasonable batsman, presently I think there are better openers than this kid. |

All out for 127.
Gerard Denton top scoring with 48.
Bracks with 5/28.
Peter Hughes continuing his march toward booting Hatdos off the team with 93. |

NSW bowled out for 172.
Tas 7/87 in reply, after being 7/41.
In the 2nd XI comp,
Tas bowled out for 111,
NSW bowled out for 138,
Tas bowled out for.... 41. Seriously
NSW 0/15, won by 10 wickets.
This is why noone takes Tassie seriously. History has shown that selection in the Aussie side is based on part individual performance, part team success against NSW. NSW are the kings, and you cannot play for Australia unless you can challenge the King.
Put that on your nine incher and smoke it.
And in case i need to point it out, this is just a bit of fun. |
