<<that aura australia had over teams,is on the slide!>>

Once again a great deduction Dr Watson. You must be a very highly educated individual to come up with conclusions like that.

Re:Aus V NZ Reply to this message
Anyway no need to worry if we lose coz chucker can once again blame South Australia like he did in the recent series against India....

LMFAO.

Re:Aus V NZ Reply to this message
Looks a good batting wicket now and a reasonable lead of 258 as i type---could use 50 more tho.

Re:Aus V NZ Reply to this message
Right now I think we already have enough to win, BUT, it only takes a decent knock from one or two guys and it becomes match point to the blokes from 'un zud'.

I'd like a 250 lead, Katich is the key there (obviously).

Re:Aus V NZ Reply to this message
we need a lead of 250 minimum just to be on the super safe side.

but then who in the K1's side is capable of chasing down the target?

Re:Aus V NZ Reply to this message
Maybe Chucker, a few scattered falls perhaps - nothing torrential! But it may liven the pitch up even further, making life very tough for the Kiwis.

I can't see this game going into Sunday!

Very ordinary day in SE Queensland
Very gloomy, overcast and looks like it will rain at any time. Expect delays at the Gabba today

Re:Aus V NZ Reply to this message
Yeah, a FAIR mix - I'd opt for:

Dighton (Tas)
Katich (NSW)
Ponting (Tas)
Hussey (WA)
Bailey (Tas)
Marsh (Tas)
Butterworth (Tas)
Paine (Tas)
Geeves (Tas)
Krejza (Tas)
Hilfenhaus (Tas)

That's a nice, fair mix don't you think! :P

Re:Aus V NZ Reply to this message
Hodge got dropped a couple of times in his 200, and it was the same pitch that Jaques Rudolph got 200 on .
He has looked very susceptible on offstump. Not test quality

Re:Aus V NZ Reply to this message
I know he had the one massive innings, but he still averages 55 at test level which isn't too bad. D. Hussey deserves a shot though. Put Hodges name down as I pay more attention to the Vic team then interstate teams, except when they play Vic.
