Can anyone recall the last time Australia had the same 12 for two consecutive Test matches?

Four score and seven years ago...

Re:Aus V NZ Reply to this message
yeah ispeak, I know what you mean, people try to make me participate in life all the time, bugs the hell out of me. I feel the best way to deal with it is devote my time to posting on internet message boards regarding the topic. It seems logical to me, at least.

Meanwhile, the schizophrenic selectors continue their recent form. Can anyone recall the last time Australia had the same 12 for two consecutive Test matches?

The Kiwis would still beat the poms tho.
+++++++++++++++++

Oh really?
2007/8 in New Zealand England won 2/1
2008 in England England won 2/0

So why use speculation when you have the facts?

Sport doesnt really carry any weight with me as I lost interest after being forced to participate while at school ,then ridiculed for not excelling at something that I could not find interesting would rather have learnt more practical things like metalwork .

Re:Aus V NZ Reply to this message
Symonds is far more interesting to watch ,his fielding far outweighs most others .I am not a fanatical lover of any form of sport but the short clips that the news programs show is all that I need to form an opinion.

I guess the sight screens weren't a problem after all. Or maybe Brisbane is a first-world city.

Re:Aus V NZ Reply to this message
well, lets hope the fluke by the kiwis in the rugby wont translate into the cricket! coz vettori CAN bat as he averages 39 in the last few years i heard and taylor is lookn good but it would have to be a fluke as clark and johnson are firing!

Re:Aus V NZ Reply to this message
Well, this one should be over by lunch tomorrow.......should
but ya just never know with the K1's.
I suppose a concern is that Lee, although looking better and finding some mojo again is still leaking nearly 6 an over against what is in reality, a mediocre opposition compared to others.
Im sure that by the time the series against the Saffers rolls around he'll be back in the zone but he's still a little short on form early on.
Not the ideal way to get to where we are but you can only take it as it comes so its still a pass mark.
Now, if only we can get the batting firing......

Re:Aus V NZ Reply to this message
siradrian,

how are u?

i think it was u that brought us the great news that the 2009 Ashes tour is going to be broadcasted by SBS.

I been thinking. IN S.A the SBS signal that appears on Foxtell (channel 104) is 30 minutes before The SBS free to air.
So does this mean that it WON'T be screened live but as 30 minutes delay on the free to air version!

Been trying to recall how SBS handled it in 2005! I think it was mainly, LIVE on both mediums wasn't it?.
