| Fair enough sven, but I'm not sure what else you wanted the Aussies to do. No Hayden, Gilchrist, Ponting, Symonds or Lee, and they had three comprehensive victories. | Sven , one example of what's p1ssing me off with these ICC ratings is this. At the end of July Stuart Broad was ranked 13th. He is now ranked 5th . During August he's played 5 matches (one of these rained off after 3 overs) and bowled 33 overs and taken 8 wickets for 145 runs.So far in his career he's played 37 ODIs and taken 55 wickets. Does his performance, as good as it was in August, warrant him being elevated above Murali, Vaas, Flintoff, Mills and Lee in the ODI top ten? As much as I am excited at Broad's potential, these ratings don't make much sense. |
