doggiedoo if the tribunal is true to form then Thurston will get off, there have been many more serious tackles that have not even been reported let alone gone to the tribunal.

And it's the first time I've heard of a bunch of mostly 23yo+ men referred to as school boys.

Re:Schoolboys versus Bullydogs Reply to this message
[you only beat the dogs via the penalty count, but when eventualy you come to sydney, without simpkins you will be flogged. If thurston was having a cry about the dogs treatment of him, he wont last long against the kiwis]

Wrong. Cowboys had been winning a bit lately already. So Cowboys would have won even if the penalty count didn't go in their favour. Cowboys would have come up with plays to win the match anyway. A few of the bulldogs players are just crazy nutcases out to deliberately injure opponent players. Simpkins knows that. And the penalty count was correct for that game.

Anyway, Thurston has his 2 awards from dally M, and you're just jealous that he's 2007 dally M player of the year.

[make sure you keep simpkins, he is by far your best chance of going all the way]

Wrong. Because cowboys won matches even without simpkins being ref.

Re:Schoolboys versus Bullydogs Reply to this message
Who was the new player for the cowboys who really did a heap of work for you guys across the field, especially in attack ? I would give him a permanent spot in your 1st grade side. Just didnt catch his name, sounded like "Ref" ??????

Re:Schoolboys versus Bullydogs Reply to this message
You never know doggie, if your dogs are good enough to beat Parra, you'll get to prove yourself against Storm and I think the Cowboys are even money bets against Warriors and Manly. Both runs are tough but both are possible. I wouldn't think so lowly of the dogs, even if you have no respect for the Cowboys, as to say they had no chance. IMO Cowboys will be at the GF and i'll happily cheer them on against your dogs or Storm.

Re:Schoolboys versus Bullydogs Reply to this message
hey dogsh**cassa, even if they cowboys don't make the grand final, they've already shown their on-field geniousNESS. Bowen got 2 dally M awards, Thurston got 2 dally M awards. Cowboys pulled off an amazing stunt just by getting into the top 8, let alone top 3. And WIN TV is happy. Cowboy fans are happy. Dairy Farmer stadium is happy since extra matches make more money for them. The cowboys are happy. The coach is happy. So, we win, you lose.

Re:Schoolboys versus Bullydogs Reply to this message
get over doggie doo, Cowboys win wasn't great but they toughed it out and got the win. The penalty count was high in their favour but the dogs gave the penalties away and the ref called them, there were plenty more opportunities for them to be further penalised. I wish you and the dogs well against Parra and who knows you keep winning and we keep winning we will see you at the GF

Schoolboys versus Bullydogs Reply to this message
With the new look/revamped Cowboys team, with all the new young guys, it's now the North Queensland Schoolboys .... a force to be reckoned with. The bulldogs only looked good in the later part of the second half because the cowboys were conserving strength and trying not to get injured ...for prep towards the finals.

The north queensland schoolboys are playing from both talent and heart, and that's what makes them dangerous.
