| cowboy have been in the top 4 most of the season they must be doing something right and have lost a few close games so it could have been better thats not bad for a team that has only 2 players in it |

His arm accidentally clipped the ball on the way through. He was aiming for the head and he got it. He was lucky not to get sent off during the game. I think the ref would have given him the benifit of the doubt especially he the ref was to the side and may have seen his arm clipping the ball.
No excuses, even Murray said after the game that it was clear penalty, but did not go any further with it. |

| are you saying that he accidently hit the ball, on the way to striking the head? That would be the arguement the judiciary had to use i guess. |

| look i agree he had intent running in from the side like that. He wanted to hurt the player....however i don't believe that he was targetting the head. He absolutley hits the ball first which is on the players chest. |

| Sione Faumuina was IMO very very unlucky to get this sentence. When i watched it on Monday night i didn't think there would be too much about it especially since he stayed on the field. He obviously hit the ball first then bu/mped up and smashed him in the face. Yes he was coming in from the side, with an uneccessary hit, but the face componant was not intentional. |

[For a 2 man team the cowboys are doing well to be in 4th spot. If they lose Bowen and Thurston they are history.
Even with those two, they have no chance of winning this year. They have had 3 very lucky wins over Canberra, Warriors and Penrith.]
That is true. With a full side, the cowboys is capable of beating any other team with their full side. The cowboys are missing so many top players and they still try to push on. Feel sorry for the knights though.....after Andrew Johns retired and after some of their good players got injured, they've been having a tough time.
The 'lucky wins' for the cowboys isn't pure luck. The cowboys can pull some of these things off because they're capable of it. If cowboys have a full squad, they fear nobody. |

They still won though.
Teams like Cronulla have had some very unlucky losses. Fact is they still lost.
That's the difference. |

Cowboys are hanging in there and doing it tough. If they can keep on grinding out their wins then that will be great, even greater if they start playing to their full potential and posting some solid wins.
Can't keep blaming the officials! Yes it was a poor performance but didn't really favour anyone IMO. |

| flexie, you said that the ref was biased??? Towards who? As you then said he missed too many calls for both teams. Doesnt sound biased, just a poor performance. |

| I WAS AT THE GAME LAST NIGHT & ALTHOUGH I DON'T FOLLOW EITHER SIDE BEING A DRAGONS FAN, I WAS BARRACKING FOR THE COWBOYS ALL THE WAY! THE SKILLS THAT BOWEN & THURSTON HAVE (WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM THE HOOKER PAYNEY) ARE UNBELIEVABLE !! THE REF WAS BIAS & HE MISSED ALOT OF IMPORTANT CALLS BOTH WAYS I FEEL. HE WASN'T CONSISTANT ENOUGH BY ANY MEANS. COWBOYS DEFFINATLEY DESERVED THAT GUSTY WIN ! GOOD ONYA BOYS !! |

| JT and Matty ran riot in the last couple of minutes of the game. But Cowboys were lucky not to be down a man after that swinging arm. Still think they were lucky to snatch the win. |

| Cowboys are good at pulling off last minute victories. Hopefully they can pull off a few more and get a reasonable finals spot ie 4 or 5 |

| Cowboys deserved the win. The refereeing was really stuffed, and biased. The final 8 minutes is legendary. |
