| Another disgraceful display. Players missing goals because they can't kick both feet, players that can't kick 45m on and on. How much longer do we have to put up with "SHI*HOUSE" if he was any good as a coach you would imagine we would have one a flag in 9 years. Stop making excuses you are useless just resign and do us all a favour. Cats by 27 after kicking 8 straight in the 2nd qtr to our ZERO |

| Kez, most commentators are saying that the better team won on friday; that the most deserved team won on friday. Never mind the fact Geelong statistically demonstrated a higher likelihood of winning (many more entries into the forward fifty, more scoring shots than Collingwood, et al. Geelong clearly deserved a place in the grand final. The fact that the AFL has a final eight series (more a money-making plunge than a system based on integrity)to determine the finalists doesn't always promote the most deserved teams to that final. Thank goodness Geelong has one of those places next saturday - clearly the best team of 2007. |

| yeah hawks that clement tap did go str8 out of bounds but if you look really closely at the replay you will see mooney's hand hit the outside of clement's upper arm, very clever big guy and the ump fell for it lol |

Yes agree that travis cloke robbed the pies by yet again showing his lack of skill of the boot and clement robbed you buy a blatant deliberate out of bounds..
You will get Judd and be there abouts again next year.. Thanks for an entertaining game.. |

I am a Collingwood Supporter.
We were beaten by a better side last night.
Congtats to Mick and the Team for a great season.
Geelong didn`t have an off night,
they were made to work for it.
Geelong are Minor Premiers,
an outstanding achievement in itself.
Its been a long time Geelong
The Premiership is in sight.
Now go and bloody well take it. |

right on port! Pies simply run out of depth and steam but fought all the way to the bell and were still attacking at the final bell, don't blame the umps celebrate a young team on the way up who got the absolute best out of themselves and have a very bright future indeed.
Cats got over the line with a mediocre performance, which is a sign of a good side - being able to win when you are bellow your best.
Go cats, the flag is there for the taking and you definitely owe your loyal supporters a GF victory |

Man, someone ALWAYS wants to blame the umpires!
Look...you lost in a close game. So be it. This years finals series has had several close games. You can´t go searching for the umpire excuse just cos things didn´t fall your way. You beat the Eagles in a close one and they have whined too hard about the umpiring. In close games someone has to lose. This time it was the Pies.
But, instead of crying about it...be PROUD of your team. You have finished 4th in the rankings for 2007. Not many predicted that I bet. And you have lost a prelim final by a lowly 5 points to the most consistent team since the Bombers of 2000. Why should you have a problem with that?
Get over it. You have had a good year. Be proud of your boys.
And.....GO THE POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| right on kaz, at least you pies fans are going places so you have lots to look forward to but for us crows we are going to struggle thanks to having a scientist for a coach and a pathetic recruiting record so pies fans you gave your best and 2008 2009 2010 look good for you, last year you lost yor final against the dogs and went out, this year you got to a prelim and lost by a whisker [pardon the pun] next couple of years ???????????, if i was a pies fan i would be itching for 2008 season to start. |

Exactly right there, buzz and well said slilent_suzi, my thoughts as well...
As foe stats kez, Geelong entered forward fifty- 59 times to Collingwoods 41 times, in real terms, probably should have been a 3-4 goal win to the Cats....
Just be proud of the way Collingwood fought out this game, their tackling ethics remind me of the 1990 premiership side, and the young blokes have great promise...... |

| Come on Kez, be a good sport, I'm a DEVOTED Pies fan and I think we did extremely well BUT, we were beaten by a better team on the night. Maybe we could blame the extra time the Pies played last week or the fact that Geelong had the break BUT we have to give credit where it's due. Bad luck guys and thanks, you did us proud, you ran your butts off. I feel sad for Nathan Buckley, maybe he WILL play another year now. Cheers Suzi |

| Kez. I understand your frustration. Go the Pies! I am a devout Bomber fan and love footy. Some decisons went against you and some for. I know you would agree that there was nothing better than to see 2 Victoria based teams fighting for a place in the Grand Final all passion and heart. At last AFL (VFL) is back home where it should be. I hope the Victoria based team no matter who they are kicks the out-of-state team's butt big time next weekend, so I can fly back from SE Asia and celebrate on the streets of Melbourne regardless of the champion's gersey colour. |

| obviously u r a geelong supporter for no other wood reply such rubbish if not. the pies were robbed thats a fact and i hope whomever play you next week kicks your backside but we already know thats not goin happen dont we it was decided weeks ago geelong would win the flag for 2007 i mean we werent even suppose to make the 8 according to all the experts and how would it be that a team that by far has acheived more than your club in my eyes beat the amazing by far the invincibles the great geelong of 2007. nup never was it going to happen. there was to much to gain and we are now only hearing of it. the afl with the federal government wood have discussed this 14million dollar hand out not just today but trust me weeks ago. you can say what u want but the facts r there. regardless if it hadnt been the pies tonite you guys played it made no difference u will certainties to play in the grand final the afl made sure of that. |

| without doubt we should have been the team to go on and play next week in the grand final, im not bitter but definitely seathing after what took place tonite. how is it possible that we end the game with an extra 10 tackles but lose by 5 points... the scoreboard doesnt give us an answer thats obvious. we were neva going to win this game it had already been decided. the afl gains nothing with the pies playing off in the grand final but gains aplenty with geelong, to the point of our federal government kicking in 14million to build a bigger shell stadium meaning more gate sales and obviously a boost in memberships. i wonder if our government would have been so generous if geelong had not made the 8, have the coach of the year, pretty much made up the all australian team won the NAB rising star award and not to 4get have 2 players as brownlow medals favourites, and of course were favourites for the 2007 flag! watch the game again and you will agree the pies were robbed and it sucks. |
