This place is NOT the correct place to ask this question.
Go to Nick's or Big Footy. |

| Hahahaha......"The Hawks H0m0 Support Crew" or maybe 'Hawks' is too offensive for the gay brigade. They may prefer something a bit more gay ..... "The Glamorous Gay Galahs"???? |

After a very quiet 18 months for the only Queer supporters group of an AFL Club that the Club recognizes, I thought we should ask this question.
Richard the man responsible for starting the PM's has stepped down and no-one has stepped up to take his place. I have been asked to take the mantle but I must admit, being a transsexual/straight woman seems to be at odds with the groups "gayness". Am I wrong? I know about 30% of the membership was certainly not gay but gay friendly, what if the PM's evolve into just another supporters group?
If we were to get the PM's moving again I would certainly like to see the group move into bridging the more than obvious gap between the GLBT world and the Macho AFL world. With the chance of using the PM's for fund-raising for all the various queer organizations that need a few extra $$$.
But 1st, should we even bother? |
