| Well, there you have it 1 win and against the old enemy, the pies. That makes it all the more enjoyable. I dont know where the blues were hiding the team that played today, but they can trot them out next week. I know its only 1 win Richo12, but its a win and as you say a win against the pies is a good win |

| SSCN09, kreuzer played well in ruck last game, he will improve to be a valuable assett in the ruck for the blues. As for ten games, I think the thread said over the NEXT 3 or 4 YEARS. we will win more than that over that period,if we dont, I suggest a complete clean out from top to bottom, including management right down to the water boys |

| I was hinting that perhaps until we start beating other teams, and get ourselves off the bottom, then it is hard to be arrogant towards other teams higher up on the ladder - tho I spose you can be arrogant toward dees supporters as well. But I think that we tiges, blues and dees supporters have got a long way to go till we can start bagging out other teams (performance wise that is - we can always bag out clubs that have cr@p membership, no history, take drugs (eg hawks, weagles etc etc)). Altho, if we are up for just a bit of good old fashion pain and are hankerin for a stoush, we can TRY and belittle other teams, but good luck I say coz we'll need it. | ohefb, richo 12 is over the moon at the moment because his team had "1" win. A long way to go, maybe a few more wins for tiges, but a lot of disappointments to come. at the end of the day richo will be sitting next to us and wondering what went wrong, and think, why did the blues finish higher than us? |

| Hey Richo12 - I can fully understand your excitement, you fully deserve your moments of bliss and we (blues supporters) also deserve a bit, so please feel free to give it to us, but just a friendly reminder, it's early days yet...beating the blues is hardly a yardstick to measure yourselves by, so as long as the arrogance is aimed at the blues only and not the 14 other clubs (I'm leaving the dees out for obvious reasons), you'll be ok. There is one thing I have to raise with you though, on another thread (I'll find it again and respond there aswell) you stated you hated the blues even more than the pies now! Please tell me it aint so, I can handle us being more hated than any other team, but just not the pies. In fact, I thought it was sacreligious for any Vic supporter to hate any team more than the pies!?! | Having watched the second half of last nights game, all I can say is if we intend to make an impressiion in this years comp, we have to improve 200% on last nights effort. Judd is not fit, and for all the hoopla that went on re judd changing clubs, first indication are that we should have left him where he was. As for fev, a no effort game. We have to learn(and quickly) that we have to chase and put pressure on our oppoments, not half heartedly watch them make the moves. Our senior players need to stand up and lead the way, not leave it to the younger players. We have a long way to go. Go the blues |
