| About 20 games ago, I predicted this lot would be in the mix for the wooden spoon. They took the nab cup win too seriously, had a dumb useless coach, and a star forward with an attitude and chip on his shoulder bigger than the iceberg that sank the titanic. How many number one picks does a club need before they start playing well? 22? |

| Not bragging scarps... Just don't see the point of visiting the other teams boards to spruik when you win, even less when you lose twice. I haven't posted in the Richmond rooms since Carlton beat Richmond and although I read through other teams boards I rarely comment, except to annoy dave. If Geelong get pounded next week, and I'm not even sure who they play, I wont be cruising thru their rooms telling them how much their team sucks. Reeks of sour grapes IMHO... |

| Yes, Carlton got a footy lesson, but I don't think that it is a bad thing. We have had a good start to the season and it will just bring them back down to earth. I istill think Carlton we win a few more games for the year. | Nice deflection effort scarps.... A bad loss for the Blues, who can learn plenty from the pasting they took. However, Carlton are 1-1 so far which is still above the Tigers regardless of the margin in "gallant" losses. I would be very surprised if Carlton make the 8, in fact would consider the season a success if we finished 10th. Regardless of how well, or poorly, my team plays I will fight the desire to sh!tcan another team to deflect attention from the result. I would have expected you to be hassling every one else but leaving Carlton alone since the Blues have already taken the points against the Tigers, but I guess logic plays no part in these "sooky-la-la" rants of yours..... |

| ha ha ha scarpi yes we got hammered but at least we can add up...when is a 78 point loss over 80 points. the boys from der der land ha ha ha ha a classic tigers fan!! i don't believe that carlton will finish in the 8 but i don't believe they will finish wooden spooners either. there are probably 4 or 5 times putting their hand up for the spoon so far this season....long way to go. don't think tigers will take the spoon either if thats any consolation |

| sure rushed behinds don't count as shots for goal, but they do show forward pressure and if the richmond pussies can't have enough skill and courage to play it out from the back they will land the wooden spoon. carlton have a bad habit over the years of scoring more points than goals and it was disappointing they didn't convert more shots into goals to boost their percentage as that is what got them the wooden spoon last year. a wins a win and hopin they can win 3 of their first 5 games. |

| Did you see the score of the Blues V Richmond Game?. I'd hate to burst your "monochromatic" (hues and shades of a single colour... ie. black, and its spectral opposite... white) bubble there chaps but.. Bottom to mediocre teams don't get 40 shots on goal no matter WHO they're playing. It's a good thing Shannon Grant can't kick. Well done blues. |
