| dont think playing Sydney is a good thing to measure your progress against, measure it against the saints, dogs, cats or even hawks, even if you do happen to lose as long as you have a red hot go and go down by 2-3 goals there's no disgrace in that and hey if you win then your right up there with them | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Agree with scarpi222 and jonahsback good footy reins above all and Carlton did play good footy against the Dons. All things said and done I'm looking forward to next week to measure Carlton's progress. Carlton V Essendon, Essendon V Collingwood, Carlton V Collingwood are always games that are very hard to pick the winner. Next week we really get to see Carlton's metal and from that point of view Sydney's as well. We could have another ripper on our hands. |

| Lets look at this loss in perspectiv. We lost because of stupid mistakes innaccurate kicking from the backline and young inexperienced players up against some pretty good veterans. We have a team that will shake the daylights out of most teams in the comp but we have to be patient and calm in our thinking. 2 wins-1 loss aint so bad when you consider past years. Early day yet |

| A 4 point loss doesnt seem that bad and in my team being richmond id take a 4point win any day. But,i think last night your guys crubmled under the pressure against a very deterimned bombers outfit.I dont like the bombers either.All my in laws go for them.I also hate carlton my bro and sis in law go for them so i hate them as much as eachother. But last night u guys gave away stupid free kicks and the bombers suckered your guys into givng them away. Many blues supporters cried today on radio complaining the free kicks.Where in fact blues got more(just). They cried fev was unfairly treated,but in round 1 he got free kicks that werent even there. Instead of them attacking the footy they attacked there opposition and thats waht harmed them |

| Fair enough to your point about how we are being we are approaching the player list. No depth, rebuilding, so on and so forth. Gotta take a gamble. All things being equal last night was not that bad a result for the Blues. Essendon played out of their skin and Carlton played bad and still......... only lost by 4 points - respectable. However as for the fans, after 7 years hanging around the bottom end of the ladder the supporters have a reason to get excited. Surely you could even understand that. Sounds like its going to an entertaining year for people keeping an eye Blues. |

| Ha...No1 ever said they were. But....(jonah understands)this is just banter. Hell i have said carlton are good enough to finsih in the top 8. I will not support them,as i dont have to. But u guys have won 2 games and now lost to essendon. Allot of your own supporters have talked up your own team,not us. When u guys are to fev consious it is gonna cost u games.And if u guys dont rest the young ones they will also cost u games,ala gartlett last night. |

| To all the Blues supporters: Let's not get ahead of ourselves. We still have a young team who have not completely worked how to win. It's obvious from last night they lost their nerve and there is a long way to go before we are able to play confidently. To all you knockers: I see writing blogs has become your channel to display your dislike of Carlton and you have no other way to vent you frustrations and anger. Get over yourselves and go do something constructive like support your teams! I'm sure your own teams aren't perfect......... |
