| Carlton didnt have the home ground advantage, and neither did freo. I prefered for us to make $400,000 rather than the 40c per ticket sold at Telstra Dome. We make on an average of $20,000 a game at the Dome, and i would like for us to not be in as much debt as we once were, which resulted in penalties. |

| Carlton have shown with their insipid performance against Freo that they are kidding themselves if they think they are going to make the finals this year. Fevola was back to his petulant spoilt child act like he used to be. The standard of this game by the Blues and their abysmal skill level made me think that I was back watching one of the games from the nightmare 2002 season, but at least then they often had a lot of injuries. Carlton need to win these pressure games against sides which according to all the experts who have been heaping praise on them they are far better than. Time to stop believing your own hype Carlton and play consistent, hard determined football. I hope the Carlton board are glad they sold out the supporters too by hosting this farce up the Gold Coast. And to anyone who thinks I am a Carlton hater, I am a loyal one-eyed member, but I will not tollerate the Blues playing like a rabble when they are capable of so much better. |
