| Hey Richo12 - I can fully understand your excitement, you fully deserve your moments of bliss and we (blues supporters) also deserve a bit, so please feel free to give it to us, but just a friendly reminder, it's early days yet...beating the blues is hardly a yardstick to measure yourselves by, so as long as the arrogance is aimed at the blues only and not the 14 other clubs (I'm leaving the dees out for obvious reasons), you'll be ok. There is one thing I have to raise with you though, on another thread (I'll find it again and respond there aswell) you stated you hated the blues even more than the pies now! Please tell me it aint so, I can handle us being more hated than any other team, but just not the pies. In fact, I thought it was sacreligious for any Vic supporter to hate any team more than the pies!?! | Having watched the second half of last nights game, all I can say is if we intend to make an impressiion in this years comp, we have to improve 200% on last nights effort. Judd is not fit, and for all the hoopla that went on re judd changing clubs, first indication are that we should have left him where he was. As for fev, a no effort game. We have to learn(and quickly) that we have to chase and put pressure on our oppoments, not half heartedly watch them make the moves. Our senior players need to stand up and lead the way, not leave it to the younger players. We have a long way to go. Go the blues |

| Yikes, remind me to be kind to Tiges supporters, especially the fiery blonde ones!! (hehe). It is unfortunate though when another d!khead supporter or player (fev) or ex-ass coach (libba) brings our name into the mud and we faithful supporters have to cop it on their behalf. But then again, I suppose Carlton does deserve some sh!t, we DID cheat on salaries (no argument there), tho personally, I'm not convinved of the tanking issue. So no hard feelings at all from me. And you don't have to worry about me giving the tiges too much cr@p as I do actually have a bit of a soft-spot for them (and it isn't sympathy either to clear that up), they are probably my second-fav team (not as arrogant as other clubs, but just as, if not more, passionate)and i love the traditional rivalry we have. Also have 2 good friends that are tiges supporters and have driven more than 8hours to Melb on numerous occasions to watch them play. BUT, I will fire up (as I have before) when a tiges supporters starts talking about how cr@p the blues are as its a bit like the pot calling the kettle black - neither of us are (recently) in any position to talk-down to other clubs - we are both sh!t, so hopefully we can find some small enjoyment on having common ground. As long as we both hate the pies (and to a lesser extent the bombers, tho I have some respect for the bombers - can't say the same about the pies). Let's just keep up some good healthy banter, and laugh at each other's poor misfortune at loving a club on the bottom of the ladder! |

| Thats ok OHEFB you were not here when a trolling Carlton supporter was on these boards and made life extremely difficult for us tiges supporters and mainly because of him i take out all my angst against Carlton but he was a ripe turd and i guess you had to off been here. | I dont think Carlton is in big trouble, just because one dolt goes out to an Indian feed house and cant findaloo (pardon the pun) doesn`t mean the club is in turmoil. What the club should have done is strip him of the No 25 jumper. | What odds that we have not seen the last of these incidents by other players from other teams this year. It seems that fev had another brain snap, but then thats fev. Love him or hate him, he does have dormant talent which only emerges when he switches his brain on. |

| Completely UNsurprised. There has never in my recollection been another Blues player that I've had such a love/hate relationship with. Almost all of our competitive games in recent years were when he had a good game and we don't have another key forward so we need him pretty bad, otherwise I'd say drop the b@st@rd! He really does sh!t me, but then, he is also one of the more exciting and entertaining players in the comp when on fire. He's so bluddy frustrating! About the latest, well, whilst very poor and immature behaviour (he's now 27 for phuckssake! I mean, Fev, grow the phuck up! I cut that sh!t out before I was 21, not to mention you've got a wife and kids! How can you be out those hours with a kid? stoopid pr!k) it didn't seem to be something too bad - I know it wasn't good, but thankfully no Assault charges or drunk-driving or drug-related offences, so hopefully will be right to play on Thurs. I just hope this is some silly form of getting the last of the cobwebs out befre a big year of settled behaviour and consistent performances. | wanton, am still disappointed about kennedy - hadn't done much but yet but once he puts on some size he'll pretty decent. | Fact; 22 rounds, mid year B4 Juddster, if at all this season, hits his straps hard! Makes for about 11 rounds of likelihood. JB and Brisvegas had to learn to leave it alone for recovery.... Fact; Melbourne x 1; West Coast x 1 (Subi); Fremantle x 1; Geelong x 1; Sydney x 1; Western B.S. x 1; Kangas x 1; Hawks x 1; Richmond x 2; Port Adelaide x 2; St Kilda x 2; Essendon x 2; Collingwood x 2; Adelaide x 2; Brisbane x 2; As several of the harder matches are in rds 1 to 11, unlikely to win some of those... Some can't win, with or without Judd! Geelong, Port & Adelaide @ AAMI, Brisbane at the Gabba Yabba doo... & only one shot at the "Spoon" faves, Melb.. 10 is ambitious but, Carlton showed some grit last year, Lappin is a huge loss and injuries are inevitable, already started! Walker 3 months, Judd lukewarm, 3 months, A, O'hailpin, Murphy's Law, Fisher, at least 4 games! Fev, PMT, often! Murphy, Murphy's Law, it will happen, lightly built and wears a "bullseye!" Judd will get a "loud" reception at Subi if he plays and without spite, will get hit hard! Anyhow, thanx for Kennedy, better for the Coasters than Judd really, 1/2 a Judd not worth a fit Kerr anyday! |

| Hard to pull yourself off the bottom of the heap into a GF team in one season. Carlton should improve, they were given a gift in Judd and must use him. Whatever they do this year I also see them as improving further in 2009 and 2010. No flags for mine, they simply don't deserve one. Poor Deb, I know how ya feel. It;s enough to make one PUKE ! |

| Vicki, I hope we win 10+ games, but I wouldn't go so far as to say we lose faith in them if we don't - In fact as much as I hate to say, I doubt we will win 10 games this year. We are still so young!!! Yes we have a huge talent base, but Gibbs, Murphy, Kreuzer, are still teenagers and some of our more "experienced" players such as Simpson, Walker and others are barely into their 20's. The best teams usually are the ones that have a good spread of experience whith a few teens/early 20's, a few 28+, and the majority between 22 and 26. I think we are still 2 years away. I said to many friends some years ago, watch for the blues in 09/10. I think that season 2010 will be the biggest year for the club in many a decade, if we are still languishing near the bottom then I think we can start talking about loss of faith. Also, Judd won't start dominating until later this year and/or early next year, needs time to recover from injury as well as fit into the team plan overall.
