| Smells funny to me to OHEFB, but i think if u take the penalty then the tribunal dont have to be there but if you dont then they have to get off their fat asses and go and adjudicate which really p!sses them off so u get a tougher penalty. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Very strange indeed, how can the penalty be increased when the nature of the offence hasn't changed and you plead guilty anyway? | Apparently Adam Harlett (Blues) had a previous run in with Howatt (Tiges) which resulted in Harlett knocking Howatt to the ground they were both cited on the 2 altercations and given an option of 2 weeks. Harlett took the penalty but Howatt chose to go up before the tribunal but for some strange reason pleaded guilty so he copped 3 weeks its really weird why he did not accept the 2 when it was offered too him. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| In last thursday nights game, there was an incident off ball, when, I think it was Hadley had a run in with a Tige. The commomtaters at the time mentioned that the AFL Tribunal might look at the incident. Was any action taken , and if so what was the result? We dont get much footy news from Vic up here. |
