Fev is becoming a waste of space, rumour mills have it that the fev will not be with the blues within the next 2 years, and thats not because of retirement.
His attitude is all wrong, he considers himself a cut above everybody else because he`s a senior player. |

| It doesn't happen often but I also agree with Scarps on this one. Fev has been on eggshells for a couple of years now and, while I don't think suspension was the right thing,he desevred a greater punishment than Kane. |

As a Carlton fan I would like to know how the Seven news reporter concluded in his report last night that the Kane Johnson urinating in public incident was somehow not as bad as the Fevola incident calling Johnsons exposure quote an aberration unquote and adding that Richmond quote acted quickly unquote with the penalty unlike Carlton.
The match suspension was a self imposed penalty by Johnson himself not the Club.
He is a captain an honour NO player would or should take lightly so of course he would want to act quickly to retain his position in the Club. Richmond fined Johnson $5,000. Johnson lives right next door to the police complex, what a moron!!!
Fevola was fined $10,000, dropped from the leadership group and warned that another alcohol-fuelled incident would result in dismissal from the Club. He also has to have counselling to try and address his underlying issues. This approach came after calm reflection and reasoning not a knee-jerk reaction producing what the Carlton Football Club considered to be the best solution. Their reasoning follows
Carlton chief executive Greg Swann said the Blues considered suspending Fevola for his latest indiscretion. Instead Swann threatened the trouble prone spearhead that he would be sacked if he was involved in any more alcohol related controversies.
Brendan has had an issue with alcohol, everything that has happened to him thus far has been connected to alcohol, Swann said.
Swann said suspending Fevola would not address his problems.
Carlton's leadership group, led by new skipper Chris Judd, was involved in the sanction, and Swann said Carlton consulted with the AFL Players' Association before imposing their penalty.
I think they are both irresponsible clowns who at age 30 and 27 respectively should know how to behave in public. Do not try and white-wash one and denigrate the other. Perhaps said reporter should stick to reporting the news and not provide judgement as well. |
