| I hate canterbury, but they have had lean years in their history and bounced back to win premierships. |

in this case you can blame the coach. the players do not want him there... and they are showing by not performing and in some case not showing up to training
They are not in the under 6's, they are suppose to be professional footballers, he is their coach till the end of the season so start behaving like professional footballers & go to training & start playing.if not start fining them.
If they don't don't like it get their mummy to make an excuse why they cant play. Pffft babies
Like I said if they still dont like it go play in the under 6's if they would have them that is, gee they can even stand stand under the goal post & kick dirt........oh sorry that is what they are playing like now.
What if they didn't like the Australian coach & got picked they would knock it back & not play???????????? |

You cant blame the coach, the players actually have to want to play, they have to actually tackle,
What did the players want Steve to go out there & hold their hands for them, maybe he should have gone out there with a big boot & given them all a kick up the a r s e .
the coach is there to coach them....they have to go out there & make it happen I'm sure they were never coached to tackle thin air....nothing....to put in so little effort that might as well have stayed home, that was the players pathetic display NOT the coaches
They don't like Steve as coach well to bl00dy bad, he is their coach till the end of the season so be big boys(sic) suck it in & do as you are told, you aren't in under 6's anymore where you can go running to mummy screaming that you don't like the coach & don't want to play anymore, wake up you are professional footballers start behaving like it or go try out for the under 6's...thats if they'd have you? |

True. But it wasn't a surprise. it's ben brewing since October last year. Once Mr Noad went itt was only a matter of time.
Most of the players were not shocked, they have been praying for it to happen sooner rather than later |

| No doubt he was, but he called the press conference to announce he was leaving. It's like if you are given the choice at work to be sacked or resign. It always looks better if you quit. |

| He didn't leave on his own terms. To quote some infamous " he was pushed , witha large hand print on his back and gravel rash on his knees" |

| Although it will be sad to see him go, its always better to have a club legend leave on his own terms. I guess now the speculation will start on who his replacement will be. The Dogs normally don't open themselves up to outsiders, so Kevin Moore must in with a big chance for the job. |
