| you are a self righteous f00l! You are not trying to read my post at all....SURPRISE! I am saying that the players are the one's demanding EVERYTHING!!! And the clubs have to give in or lose them. If the clubs threw their weight around, they would lose the players to England or other clubs, and the cycle continues......so get over your hatred of Roosters. You paid heaps for players and went over the cap, remember losing ALL those points? And now you have bought several more players so far this year for next. And it seems as is my point, you will need to pay MORE for a player who is already on contact and shouldn't have the right to demand more money. |

| You started the post so nobody called you over here. Molcolm Noad is long gone he was replaced by Greenburg,"OUR clubs are suffering due to sooky players. Just *** s me." Your club benifeted from OUR sooky players Little Willie is a prime example, so it s h i t s you that your team bought my team? I could go on pointing out the faults in your posts, but whats the point. |

They have to negotiate hard and pay top dollar, then they have to give long contracts, and then if the player doesn't like it they try to leave or the club has to PAY MORE to the playe to get them to hold tight to the original contract......OUR clubs are suffering due to sooky players. Just *** s me.
And by the way red....it seems I was actually speaking to/with nigela and hooam, but now you have had your rant, and I responded. DONE! |

can't stand the dogs......and seeing that you called me over here.....SBW has been *** ing his @ss off about the club and Malcolm Nonads, so maybe he is a Rooster supporter too right?
Greedy pr11ck just wants more cash! He has over $500k per year but that isn't enough? Read the story on NRL.com. All about having to say that he had an alcy problem. Boo hoo, i had to admit that i was a drunk!
And red.....i wasn't saying to put SBW back to park because he is cr@p, just said that if he wants out of the 5 YR DEAL THAT HE JUST SIGNED for just under 3MILL, then sit him on his @ss, but of course I also said that it would be a costly mistake and didn't know how the dogs can come up with a solution.
Clubs are being held over a barrel by the players they employ, and it is a rediculous situation. |

| Gee Stats You haven't posted on your own teams page in over 2 weeks but feel free to talk about all thing Canterbury to yourself over here. You must be one of those soft Bulldogs fans that painted a red stripe on your Dogs Jumper. You talk sh1t about dropping SBW to park footy, thats what we should have done to little wilie. In case you had not noticed the real Canterbury supporters on here have already accepted the fact that we are *** this year. So there is no need to come in here and gloat about what is left after your new team bought the dregs of coffs harbour. |

| IMO the league needs to have the Dogs in healthy position. Include Eels in that too. It isn't too late for either team to make it to the 8, and it is a healthier comp when they are. |

| oh no and they just scored again! 26-0 with the kick to come...........28-0 as the siren goes for half time. Looks like another hard night for the so far hapless dogs. The season looks grim, and surely Folkes needs to go soon. I know they are very depleted and it is hard enough facing the storm with a full team let alone about 6 players missing. |

| That's my opinion too, tell him legally he has to stay and then don't pick him in the line up! However that would be a very costly move as they pay him over half a mill per year! |

| And now the club looks like it is keen on legal action against SBW. I hope that the club genuinely goes after him. He is 1 year into a 5 yr deal and wants out? The club stands to lose a bucket load on this......take what he is worth. |

With the players we have at the moment, I don't think Kevin could make the Dogs have an impact this year. I think it looks better for him if he takes over next year. We will be in a battle for the spoon along with Penrith Souths and Dragons, although I think the first 2 will battle it out. If Kevin took over this year and we got the spoon or finish in the bottom 3 it would be a bad start to his coaching career and we would struggle to attract any new players. Folkes may leave towards the end of the year when the damage has been done, thus allowing Kevin to take over untarnished.
No doubt the Family values are still alive and well at the Dogs with Kevin the only Coach interviewed for the job, with Rugby League run as a business now I'm not convinced this has been the right move. No doubt Folkes will pop up somewhere at the club. |

| It still amazes me that teams (when this sort of decision is made) don't implement the change immediately. Why keep Folkes on? It isn't as if you are brining a stranger in....this is someone who is integral in the team already!! Let him take over the reigns now. They are both being paid antway, so it isn't as if they need to pay out one contract and then on top of that pay a new contract. |

You're right with those comments stats. with a new coach and new management we might stand a better chance in 2009.
Cannot see the "boys'" improving much this year.No top eight for us. No motivation. |

| If there was a decent club and admin, then the players wouldn't have left. They wouldn't have had reason......but with the Coach on his way out (decision should have been a year ago), you may stand a better chance of keeping people. |
