Hodges and PJ To Miss Storm Thu 03.4.2008 - Trad McLean Hodges and PJ To Miss Storm JUSTIN Hodges and PJ Marsh are both out of the big match against the Melbourne Storm after failing to train today. Hodges has hamstring tightness while Marsh (pictured) has a rib problem from last week's game. The dual wihdrawals brings about a reshuffle, with Darius Boyd going to centre and Denan Kemp coming on to the wing. Michael Ennis will start at hooker with Shane Perry moving to the bench for the Olympic Park game. In good news, Darren Lockyer and Karmichael Hunt completed the session and are expected to play after missing last Friday's 36-2 romp against the Cowboys. Despite the positional upheaval, assistant coach Ivan Henjak said there would be no making of excuses for a bad performance against a Storm team that has won just one from three. "We have lost them both, but it is only early in the season and they won't be out for long," he said of Hodges and Marsh this morning. "Darren and Karmichael were big losses last week, so we won't lose any confidence with those two out. "I think we can cover it - the rest of the team has been playing their part of late, so there won't be any excuses. "Our strength has been that everyone has been contributing." Henjak did underline the fact that a smarting Melbourne was still a massive challenge. "Melbourne are still the benchmark and a lot of teams are trying to lift to their level," he said. "Lately they are not at their best but that can change very quickly." Lockyer is expected to play, as long as his knee is not too sore tomorrow morning. "It all depends on how he pulls up," said Henjak. "It is week to week with him at the moment. There is nothing structurally wrong, but he is not 100 per cent confident yet. |
