| I'm all for drafting Cousins, but wouldn't touch Nick Davis with a bargepole. However, I'm not the one making the decisions here and I have a feeling that Davis will be on the side and the whole Cousins drama is far from over yet. |

Emg Cheynee Stiller, Tom Collier, Lachy Henderson. It would be easy to label the team as "has beens", and I have no doubt thats what most will do. Since the meat of this line up would have been a real "DREAM TEAM" 4 years ago. Davis who virtually got the Swans to a GF, Cousins who won the brownlow and got his side to 2 consequtive GF's as captain and spiritual leader of the club while thier superstar had a run as skipper, Johnstone who was one of the indispensible players (Green, Neitz, Robbo, Bruce) at Melbourne 2 years ago, add them to Black, Brown, Bradshaw and co. and it reads like a superstar "who's who" circa 2005. But if nothing else it will give the young players of the future in Brisbane something to aspire to (waiting for the obligatory cousins drug joke) and will hopefully give Brissie a good mix of youth and experience. It will be interesting how the team gels. |

| there's no doubt that both players could bring enormous talent with them, but potential baggage to match. Both know they are on their last chances and if they want to play in a flag, brisbane is on the up while st kilda may be on the down, along with nth.. It would relieve pressue on the midfield and the fwd set up, and release guys like Johnstone and Power possibly..
