Abolish... from what I understand the lions most likely traded him because they needed to get rid of a small forward.

There is no room for McGrath, Hooper, & corrie in the same side... the lions did try McGrath down back to fit them all in but was'nt very successful. I Expect McGrath to be sent back forward where he is a great finisher for goal (something hooper & corrie need to work on).

So why the pick 93?... Apparently so they don't have to pay out his contract.

Cousins connection?... The lions are considering making a play for Cousins. I am sure that once Cousins makes public which club he will play for no one else will touch him... so the lions have pick 93 to use for him if we can convince him to come.

If cousins doesn't come we will most likely not use pick 93... unless Voss knows of a hidden gem of a player... remember he has done alot of coaching with young players the past few years

I think we do need Cousins and really his best best for staying clean is to go to Bris or Sydney where the spotlight isnt on him and he wont be hassled. It would be stupidity if he went from one goldfish bowl in perth to a bigger one in Melboune

Somebody please explain this one to me! I don't understand why the hell the Lions have traded Corrie for a lousy No 93 draft pick and I can't begin to fathom where they might be going with this!

What's the Cousins connection?

Do the Lions really need Cuz? Think about it, the Lions need young mid-fielders to get some experience before Black and Power retire.

I am sure the lions got that pick in case Cousins agrees to come to the lions.

If he doesn't we don't have to use it

Re:Welcome to the Lions Reply to this message
I heard from the Lions camp already that they're going to use pick 93 for some anonymous guy who goes by the name of "PASS"

Gubby Allen says they were going to Delist Corrie anyway?!?! fair enough, rob the pies of a pick while they're at it.. but at least shop him around.. get some interest.. god swap him for Rhys Shaw for all I care, but if you're going to go to all the trouble of trading him, at least get SOMETHING for him!?
