| ctransom. you forget that black, johnston, notting, power will all be playing for the lions in 2010. corrie henderson and proud will be first team players. so will some reserves we have now. good players waiting in the wings. even bradshaw might be playing. 2010 is only a year and a bit away. bradshaw looks hardly like a player losing it. |

| add another 2 years to merrett, roe, macdonald, drummond, etc. that'd be a quality backline. our midfield will still be quality, we may have the best ruck duo in the league, and that fwd line will have plenty of goalkickers |

| Ct it dosent look to much different to the current team I would expect collier to be in the squad McGrath would have likely returned to WA Young Sheldon would be in the mix (classy player I hear) I agree that selwood wont be around much longer if he continues they way he is Pat garner will be a good backmen Watch out for tippett, hopefully he is like his brother. | yes it does strike me as a team that will win most of these guys will hit there peak in the next 2 to 3 years and they will win games other teams for some reason do not draft the right players like last year the how did seelwood drop to eight in the draft do not know how things like that happen the tigers are the number one offender poor drafting look at the players the have drafted late rounds risky for one Jed and guys we have goten from the local leagues like drummo stiller Joel mac Copeland these guys we there for every one anyway your list that you posted will maybehave the names collier kiel and another couple of draft picks we get. | I got bored so I started thinking about the Lions future.. With the potential retirements in the next couple of years, looking towards the future the Lions need to ensure that thier 2nd tier squad will still win games.. This is what the team will look like without Bradshaw, Johnstone, Notting, Black, Power, and Lappin. B: Begley, Merrett, Roe HB: Patful, J McDonald, Drummond C: Stiller, Adccok, Ris c hitelli HF: Brennan, Brown, McGrath F: Clark, Charman, Hooper Foll: Leuenberger, Harding, Shermann Int: Corrie, Henderson, Proud, Copeland Does that strike you as a team that could still win games?
