Bushy has a spot in the best 22 IMO as either a HF or HB flanker. His pressure and tackling are too valuable to throw away to another team.

BTW I'm convinced that Mitch Clark should be developed as a back man. The FOrward arc is loaded with Talent.. but an athletic 198cm 92(?)kilo backmen with ground skills and good closing speed are a rare breed.

Just ask Buddy Franklin.

maybe bushy will be looked at in trade week... a few years ago the tigers were heaps keen on him, and he still has alot of years left in him.

early days yet... I always thought he would make a great back pocket defender, but he gets beaten to much in defence

i'd like to see prouds development fast tracked, but also tom collier. we need more good defenders and this guy is apparently going to be that.
i dont like copeland not fitting into the side, coz i like him as a player. dont know where to play him though.

once again I couldnt get coverage in SA for the lions game on the weekend, which is a damm shame because it sounds like it was a cracking game.

With our injury list shortening, comes with extra pressure for players to hold down their spots in the side.

Players a chance inclusion:

Lappin... pending injury/fitness test (obvious)
clark... Big Mobile forward with great ground level skills, knows how to crumb goals and take a mark... played just about everywhere (forward/wing/middle) for the reserves on the weekend to great reviews

Harding... has been playing solid in the reserves for a while now... considering we lack crumbing goals he would be a good inclusion. can also run in the midfield. brings great run and carry into the side.

Proud... every team seems to be sticking with a young gun to fast track their development... he is our guy. Was dropped despite racking up hard balls due to the lack of general field posessions. Has played really well back in reserves, now should be close for consideration.

Players whose form is suspect (would like feedback on their preformances on the weekend... Im going by recent form and the stat sheet)

Selwood... hasnt looked good for a while, should be providing run out of defence being a small defender. Sherman taken his spot as No 1 tagger

copeland... at a loss were he fits in the side. To slow down back, and not the best forward option, down the order as a tagger

Hooper... needs more goals. Heaps of small forwards in the league going great guns, he needs to find that spark he had last year
