dont know how quick clark is, and u need some speed to be a good defender. with his body size, he's much better as a fwd i reckon.

we need a back like when we had leppa and michael. we have merrett doing a good job covering the loss of michael, but I agree with worbsy in that we need to fast track a player like collier as a CHB. Clark would also be good down back but I think he is far to dangerous up forward not to have him there

as i thought, so we need a permanent centre half back i reckon. Collier could develop into that.

we don`t have a CHB it depends on match ups Merrit gets the beasts and platful and JAY Mac rotate on who they match up with better on game day at the moment once roe comes back i think he has the size speed and strength to run and physicaly match up with whoever he has to he will have to work on his hand passing though.

drummond has been similar. immense talent, rarely on the field to display it. lets hope this is a turning point for mitch

Mitchy is a good player but works kind of like a Michael Owen, injured always.

Re:Braddy, bag of 10 Reply to this message
he'll get a game. Leigh has to play him while he's got the chance, the guy gets injured that much. he'd be hard to match up on too, especially with our other fwds at the moment. he'd probably get the 4th or 5th best defender from a team.
our injury list is looking very good at the moment, almost full strength

worbs could not agree more we will have to bring our a game this week but no neitz and no whelan brennan and mc garth to kick a few this week the dees defence has no match ups for your forward line Browny or Braddy to kick a bag of 6 plus.Top8in08

um... you're wrong? lol, nah, catters are the team to beat (obviously).

given our fwd line, i would hope for a blowout. should be raining goals. we have a FAR superior midfield, and so if we win plenty of clearances, it'll be a slaughter.
i remember tigers last year tho... we got a draw and they were really, really **** at the time. so having said all that, this week kinda conerns me. i dont want us to be the team that gives dee's a win.

I would say that a big effort is needed by the boys this week.. they need to really ram Melbourne into the ground, get their percentage at least over 100. You will need a win in the vicinity of 80 points.

For 2 reasons, 1) percentage counts at the business end of the season, and 2) the cats are coming the week after, they need to be at the top of their game in order to even come close. There is every chance of a blowout (you all saw what happens to good teams (ie the swans) if your concentration lapses for 10 minutes).

If the percentage is high enough, a biggish loss to the cats wont hurt as much. It sounds defeatist, but the Cats are the benchmark team, come on.. tell me I'm wrong.

not that we particularly need him this week, considering demons fwd line, but it'd be good to give him a run before we face geelong

Re:Braddy, bag of 10 Reply to this message
injury list is looking good again, 5 definitely out, the only notable one there is drummond. 5 are listed as 'test', the only notable one there being lappin. which means roe is back!
well... maybe not in the senior side, but he's a chance :)

Re:Braddy, bag of 10 Reply to this message
just want a win next week need it really need it to stay in touch. If braddy kicks ten we will be in the winners circle for sure but i would like to see an even spread between Brown and BRaddy and acouple each from hoops and ash when we were at our best last year we got 3 to 6 goals from the midfeild with notting jed and blacky chippin in each week if this happens each week once we get Roe and Drummo back we could be a top 3 prospect IMO what do you think B Lions
