As for the NBL, it needs work and not from the fans from the league. Its a freaking shambles. Im a Perth fan so its easy for me but at the end of last season the NBL lost 2 of its biggest teams and its "new frontier" team. 3 teams in one hit. And basketball fans are to blame for that?

You've answered it right there. See what I mean. The NBL is cactus.

All i said sing was maybe you should start an NBL thread. Its obviously a subject close to your heart....

Still trying to figure out why you dont post "you want to be a Pommie" posts on the EPL board.

No, I don't get on the EPL boards.

So how come you don't support your local product, the NBL?

Im an Aussie. Never been to the US and probaly wont be anytime soon. But i do love basketball. Hey sing, do you get on Premier League message boards and tell people they are Pommie wannabes or do you keep it strictly to American sports leagues?

Good to see you don. Wheres my new "with malice"?

2 impressive games for the Lakers to start with. But Portland and the Clips? I was expecting a little more from the Blazers but still a good strong start for Kobe and Co.

Early days yet.
Oden'll be fine... I think. Alarming start tho'!

Really happy with the way the Lakers have started - the thing that impressed me most was the way they just did NOT STOP... even tho' it was clear they were going to win.
Even last year, they let up on easy wins.

You could always start an NBL thread if you feel uncomfortable about it.

Even Odens stats for his 12 minutes were ordinary. On the bright side Roy done his part for my fantasy team.

Re:NBA 2008-2009 Reply to this message
I've always had this bad vibe about Greg Oden... probably because of Portland's whole Sam Bowie history... and no I didn't go near him in my fantasy drafts..

Anyway I guess the good news is that Marcus Camby was also highly injury prone and he came good eventually...
