| Channel 7's coverage of basketball was the worst I have ever seen. Absolutely pathetic. |

| Channel 7 coverage was a pathetic personality and bad humour competition between its hosts, with an equally pathetic sideshow of Olympic events. They all came Equal first in the pathetic personality and bad humour contest, while they came in a distant last for quality olympic event coverage. |

| i freaking hate 7 now they suck and are dumb and useless. It annoyed me like nothing else seeing events I wanted to watch to only be interrupted. Basketball had shocking coverage through the whole Olympics. When there is a game being shown let me watch it all and dont interrupt it during crucial times and dont cut it short next time. Go to hell!! Thats about as much as I can do to complain, If it was upto me I would sack you all. Oh well :) |

| Channel 7's handling of the Gold Medal basketball game was not only disgraceful - it was professionally incompetent. The sudden switching to five or six consecutive commercials in the middle of the action was upsetting enough, but then ending the showing of that game at the most crucial moment - to go to a news program which could easily have been put back for 30 minutes - was the ultimate slap in the face to viewers. But why should Channel care, or apologise, or replay the game? They made their Olympics money, which is now obviously all they ever really cared about. A pitiful viewing experience in every respect. |

| Well I am furious, ch 7 has angered alot of bball fans. First the bronze medal game is interrupted by a s**t afl game. I thought surely they would show the whole gold medal game, but of co *** no, and to miss the crucial end of the game was unbelievable. The 4th quarter should have been replayed after the news. Thank god I don't have to watch ch 7 anymore |

| I definitely agree the coverage for the basketball final was an absolute shyte show. I live in Qld and unlike the other states I got to see most of the game except for the most important part of the game, the final quarter, CHANNEL 7 decides to interupt the coverage and take us to the news. | Im in total agreeance. i live in WA, we got to see the first 6 minutes before channel 7 put on the AFL West coast V Hawthorn game. the eagles got beatn by 100 odd points and it was a terrrible game. instead of seeing the incredible atheletes from both the usa and spain go head to head in what im sure was a thrilling game we had to watch a dull delayed telecast AFl game. what a joke channel 7. you truly make me sick. | I totally agree with all you guys...channel 7 crew are the most inexperience and unprofessional personnel of all time in television history!!It doesn't take a genius to tell you that you don't cut to the commercial in the middle of the game, you go to commercial when the team calls timeout, your viewers wants to watch the game,not listen to the garbage of your stupid gaze and that poff commentator who just keeps repeating the scoreline and give the crew a chance to cut to commercial during the game!We know the score, we are not blind, if you like to repeat the scoreline so much, go and work in the blind foundation or something, you piss me off and ruining the game with your inexperience in basketball knowledge commentating,i think every1 knows how pathethic channel 7 really are in terms of coverage of the games,bad commentating, loves to repeat and show commercials.The crew over there are bloody lazy!! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Woooow! Channel 7 - you just gave us a 30 second highlight package of the last 10 mins of the game! Why even bother? You turned an exciting gold medal game into an absolute farce! Next time, save it for your terrible current affairs programming. |

| Great work channel 7, you really know how to disappoint your viewers. Why would I want to watch 3 quarters of a basketball and then not watch the end of the match? Channel 7, please do not bid for the rights of the next Olympic games, you will only do an injustice to yourselves and diminish any ratings and reputation that you have remaining after your shocking performance during these Olympics. For the future, take a page out of SBS' book, they know how to cover the Olympics from start to finish! |

| It is with utter disgust that i sat and watched the gold medal basketball match - only for you to cut to news with 8 minuts to go in the final quarter! I thought you could not get any worse, but thanks, you have proven me and the rest of Australia wrong again! Just like when you had exclusive rights to the AFL, you have again tarnished the reputation of your network and completely ruined something that should be magical for all Australians! I hope you go away and have a good long hard look at these complaints and your terrible coverage! |
