| More than agree! I'm sick of eagerly staying up way past my bedtime to watch cut, pasted,condensed footage of the game! There are too many events for one station to handle - rights to each sport should be sold individually, or 7 should sell rights of selected sports to other channels. Also, when the 7 has the capability to show two separate broadcasts on HD, do it! Why have I been watching softball for an hour and a half! And don't even get me started on 'Yum Cha'. The boomers are champions if they seal this one, go hard boys! Rant complete. |

| My buddy said its on 7 @ Midnight. No way they would give it to SBS. Hopefully due to the late start time, there will not be too many other sports to cut away to. Australia paying $23 to win if anyone is feeling confident. |

| Yes But What Time is Aust playing the septics! It is not listed on the SBS schedule as are the 3 other q/Finals. So if 7 have taken it . What time are they going to show it????????????? |

| Channel 7 is probably the worst olympic broadcaster when it comes to the basketball games. Ive kept tabs watching the USA OR Argentina basketball games at 12midnight utnil 2am, and they kept cutting away for commercials in the middle of the game instead of timeouts. and when halftime comes, they go jump for another sport in progress or delayed (which is understandable), and somehow they forget to get back for the 2nd half of the game. TRULY PATHETIC BROADCASTING. Yeah im sick n tired seein non-stop replays of the swimming events, coz we all know thats the only salvation for aussie sports. | Channel 7 have made a mess of the Olympics, the coverage has been pathetic. Not only have they made this watching very poor, they have also given us substandard coverage all year of the AFL.With the ball being bounced most friday nights at 8:45pm. Do channel 7 delay the live AFL, as they know if it were live in Melbourne, we would all turn the volume down and watch the game, listening to the best callers on triple M. Everyone knows channel 7 is the worst station going around, Today tonight is prime evidence of that. At least they will win the Most adds bashed on TV award. | I have been wondering how Channel 7 got its right to cover the 2008 Beijing Olympics.The way Channel 7 covers the Olymnpics, does not indicate any sense of professionalism at all. The truth of the matter is... this TV station does not deserve any privilege to get this Contract to air the entire Olympics. Channel 7 is doing a very poor job. It should have been given to eother Channel 9 or 10. In summary, I would rate Channel 7 in a scale of 10 where 10 is the highest, as 2. That is how poor Channel 7 is, in terms of its Awful Coverage. | agreed. the boiling point is where they cut to commercials in the middle of all the action. i wouldnt be as mad if they cut to commercials in a timeout but cutting when there is no stoppage ?? thats just dumb broadcasting. i wouldnt be half as pissed if it was cutting to the finals of another sport and switching back... but commercials ??? absolutely pathetic. |

| pathetic! every break in the game they goto ADDS, and we miss half the action on the other side of the break, sometimes they look at other silly sports 1st b4 they go back to the Basketball. Very poor coverage of this. |

| Why would channel 7 choose to show the 200m track heats with no Australian athletes competing rather than the Boomers v Lithuania. | I'll say. Channel 7's coverage of the basketball is pathetic! yep thats rite, I said it, pathetic. One game in particular, the USA mens first game. They played snippets of the first half, they said they would be 'straight back after halftime' with the second half. | Watch SBS it has the best coverage of the Olympics, that channel shows all countries and sport, Channel Seven sucks. | I was hoping to be able to watch the Boomers and also the top teams like America, Spain, Argentina etc. The coverage has been pretty bad, so far I've seen Russia vs Brazil (womens) and no mens games. I was away for some of the Olympics and couldn't watch but when I got back I was disappointed to see that there was very little coverage of basketball. |

| Basketball No Coverage Our girls are doing really well by all reports but I am yet to see a whole game. Look I know that live they have had games at 10.30pm but why don't you run a repeat of the games regularly at say 6.30 pm every night. We want to see our girls play. Sue |
