HAHA yes im not sure about boggits wigga thing he has happening, Personally id rather they didnt have him in the team because really we do better with out him and as soon as we get some of the old hacks like Anstey, neilson out the better,,In my opinion ,mills, redage, ingils, even saville, newly and a few new tall buggers would be great for next olympics with Andrew Gaze as coach B Goorjian i dont think was up to the task

Re:B Goorjian Reply to this message
clintdogg32 did you even watch the game today? Bogut killed them in the first quarter and opened up the court for our 3 point shooters. There is a reason Newley and co found there shot this game, they were wide open!

Try and remember that he is coming back from an injury, and obviously needed a couple of games to find his rhythm.

As far as Goorjian, he is a master tactician who gets the best out of everyone he coaches. Barlow could barely dribble a ball 4 seasons ago when he came out of juniors as a power fwd, and now he starts at guard on our olympic team. enough said!

Re:B Goorjian Reply to this message
Brian Goorjian is an apologist for Bogut's lates performance in Beijing Olympics.

lets face, you cannot build the Boomers team around Bogut who seems losing his old game because he's thinking of his multi-million $$$ contract in NBA. you cannot blame Andrew alone

for the meantime, give more options to Patrick Mills and even Andersen whom i think will have a better game than Bogut for this olypics

Goorjian is a cancer that has attached itself to a new carrier. He buys championships and causes teams too fold. In the NBL, you cant just flaunt money like its a never ending thing. Sure he can coach, but when you buy the team ya want Im sure anyone will do well. Where are all his former clubs now? thats right, they don't exsist cos he caused them to go broke.

Re:B Goorjian Reply to this message
He knew that the kings were nearly about to fold...he got out of the sinking ship before the holes got too big. If things don't change in the administration soon there wont be a team. It has been horrible for years. I was involved with them in a minor capacity approx 6 yrs ago, and nothing too much has changed.

Can't believe the Sydney Kings let Super Coach Goorjian go...the man is a legend - 18 seasons in the NBL and all his sides have made it to the semis at least. In his 6 seasons in charge of the Kings....3 grand final wins from 5 appearances and one loss in the semis.
