| I totally agree w/ treavor, we have produced elite players and rank among the best.NBL games should have free air 1-2 per week to encourage young generations.BA was better exposed in this country 15 years ago.We need a change. |

| The NBA might be the US league but the amout of foreign players in it now is what makes it so special. The NBL is faily good quality its just poorly run and very badly marketed. |

Very sad for our local league.
RIP NBL. |

"KG's obtaining a ring this way is a lil' mercenary."
Damm right don. And the great Karl Malone and Gary Payton were accused of being sell outs when they did the same thing. |

And listing personal achievements and saying that's a reason is irrelevant.
Patrick Ewing - one of the great centers - never won a ring either. The list is huge. |

PP, $hitty game 3 but awesome game 4. Has to be favourite for finals MVP surely?
Secondly urridiclass, KGs record is impressive. Any fan of the game will tell you that But does he "deserve" a ring? Basketball is a team game and from memory the Timberwolves, although a great team at one point, never one a title with KG and it wasnt like they didnt have the team to do it. Also, if you drop Ray Allens effort and Pierces effort from the season would the C's be 3-1 up against LA in the final series. And KG has played second fiddle to PP in this series anyway.
My favourite player of all time was Charles Barkley. Huge player, even bigger personality yet never won a title. I think he deserved one but it wasnt to be. |

The way the NBL is right now it is hard to get excited about it.
Most of our best players have left for Europe anyway... |

Although it isn't too late, any theories as to why the Lakers aren't up for it???
Maybe the Spurs series took it out of them as I remember they were really hyped over that showdown.... |

Hey don ,jono is my mates name i put him onto this site a while ago ,we just got back from the state of origin and was p!$$ed as..lol..and sharing a comp with four blokes..
As to my admitted-- it came from espn where a fair few of the writers said that the jazz were hard done by especially in l.a...
With the foul count --you have to foul to give free throws do you not?? (a tech foul is a foul).
I dont feel the need to explain anything cause I dont really care.I may have been a bit harsh but I have been live blogging with a lot of lakers supporters and all the whinge about is fouls...geez no wonder everyone not a laker fan hates the lakers..lol...
So i admit to some blithely ignorance...
on the side -do do you think the fould count has anything to do with this cheating ref stuff going on?And what do you think about the claims the sac-lakers game was rigged(talk about foul count disparity..lol) |

| Jeez don i didnt think youd agree. But your right. If the best ranked team does the right thing and wins there first 2, they hand it over to the lower seeded team at home and therefore puts pressure on the higher ranked team to win 2 straight games at home to end the series. I cant see a team as slick as LA dropping a home game to my beloved C's and that hurts. But its a reality. |

| Agreed Trev, the 2-3-2 format allows the lower seed to get a huge bit of momentum *if* they can win their 3 home court games. |
