Spurs v Lakers is becoming one of the great rivalries of the modern era if it isn't already... read somewhere that whoever wins their playoff matchups go onto win the championship every time... don't know how true that is

Lakers now 2-0 on the way to Texas. Like i said before, if Spurs lose the series they can thank the last 10 minutes of game 1...

If Boston dont win, im on the Spurs. I think we are seein the end of an era with them its good to see a team dominate, but not a dominate team. Yes?

Yeah ,I was only joking (was a wee bit drunk last night)
i would love to see a spurs -boston final so I am a bit biased. But i know the general publics opinion.

Its dissapointing to hear that team ball(spurs-detroit) is considered boring these days but never mind.

Netstar you need to read dons comments again ,he suggests that the bulls should draft a player namely rose...

just a quick one on the draft... don't know why Chicago are so excited about getting number one.. no sure fire superstars in this one and it's not like Chicago haven't had their fair share of playing the draft over the years...

as don said... from Chicago's prespective forget the draft and look at rebuilding from a new direction ie Boston

"Trev - Phil Jax is 40-0 when winning the first game in a series."
That is a pretty amazing stat don and the reason i gues why the zen master is the man. But all the more reason why the Spurs are going to be dissapointed in about a weeks time with the last 10 minutes of last nights game...
Im hoping for LA v Boston. One because im a Boston fan and 2 because when i was a little fellow and started to like the great game, it was Boston and LA/ Magic v Bird. This is going to be a very retro series. Im hoping....

Trev - Phil Jax is 40-0 when winning the first game in a series.

Only if you're a Lakers fan mandati????

Actually, most people who don't follow Pistons/Spurs are hoping for LA/Boston. Pistons/Spurs was the worst rating finals of all time.
Talk about watching-paint-dry-BORING basketball!

Bah ,the best game if your a fricken laker supporter..lol
How dissapointing , to be up by 20 then give it away ..
Your right trev ,this one could cost them.

don , I dont dissagree with what your saying but damn how many draft picks do the bulls need ,its an endless cycle.
Last season has showed that young draft picks dont guarantee victories..

with miami I dont think they need the pick unless they are not keeping marion.him and wade and another proven player could do good things IMO of course.

Today's game was perhaps the best playoff game I've seen thus far. It was incredible.
LeBron should be taking notes.

If you cannot SEE the playoffs, then I urge you to have a look at the TNT site, off-hand cannot get to the link, but it's on my front page. LIVE game... awesome.

Re:NBA Season 07/08 Reply to this message
Too early to say.
The Bulls have to acknowledge that they are a few years from being near the top - Miami pretty much have (which is why Riley bailed).
Thus, Chicago should take Rose. They really should. Yes, Hinrich's pretty good, and so's Duhon. But Rose could be amazing.
The thing is that Beasley's not a center. And Chicago are far more invested in Tyrus Thomas & Joakim Noah than they are with Duhon/Hinrich.
Trade them, get pieces, be good in a few years.

Re:NBA Season 07/08 Reply to this message
Do the bulls really need another young player?
Same for miami .
Don ,I dont really follow the college ball too much. Are the top prospects hofame material?
Or should the bulls move the pick along with some of their trash for a proven player or 2.
Same with miami ,with wade and marion do they need a youngster??
But as I said I dont really know how good these players are.

Re:NBA Season 07/08 Reply to this message
Yes... but - pressure’s on the Bulls - who given what they’ve had for draft picks should be better than they are.
2007 - 9th pick
06 - 2nd and 13
05 - nothing…
04 - 3rd
03 - 7th
02 - 2nd
01 - 2nd and basically 4th
00 - 4th and 24th
99 - 1st and 16th…
Talk about underachieving…

Ok , it's finals time...
Spurs in 6
Boston in 6

And the spurs are still my second favourite team.Hopefully Bowen will put a few hits into kobes back...just to keep him honest.

Re:NBA Season 07/08 Reply to this message
Remember when the Spurs used to be everyone's fav second team and they played the way the game as it should be??

All that success seems to have gone to their heads and whilst I thought last season's series against Phoenix was a one off, Horry's stunner on David West was awful and unsportsmanlike..

Believe it or not I've grown to dislike them immensley now and would be thrilled if the Lakers could wipe them out of the playoffs.... I guarantee Kobe will be headhunted and I wonder how long Bowen or Horry will wait to take their shot
