Re:Fantasy League Reply to this message
In some head-to-head leagues, you can set it so that you choose your team at the beginning of each week and you HAVE to stick with it...

Re:Fantasy League Reply to this message

Re:Fantasy League Reply to this message
Currently 3rd, but have always been in touch despite carrying Agent Zero for many, many weeks.
Hopefully, that'll pay dividends.

Re:Fantasy League Reply to this message
what I would love to know is this :

Why is it that when you grab a hot player he immediately goes cold? and then you dump him onto waivers and he heats up again!

It drives me mad!

"I couldnt figure out why i couldnt dump Artest when he was injured,"

Artest was on your "Can't Cut" list which is a feature that was introduced so players with losing teams didn't dump their entire team onto waivers....

Re:Fantasy League Reply to this message
don't think there are any IL spots either so can't afford to pick up players like Bibby or Brand...

Arenas could be be big later but I thought of all the lost production he would take of another player in the short term and getting behind is a risky tactic....

Re:Fantasy League Reply to this message
It may end up being a bad move on my part... but in a bigger league he wouldn't get dumped at all.

We'll see I guess...

Re:Fantasy League Reply to this message
I believe that Arenas is good enough, that if you have room, you should keep him & try and ride it out. When he returns, he'll still be a top-line guy.
So... I grabbed him. I think I have enough that I can work with 12 roster spots, and it should pay dividends later.

I like my team the way it is, even though they suck. Im going to blame early season injuries to Arenas, Carter, Billups and now Ford

Re:Fantasy League Reply to this message
Wow...

We have 8 teams, each with a roster of 13 players (I think). That means that there are 104 players on rosters. I have got no idea why there are 24 players available to be picked up with current ranks LOWER than 104.
Fixing a team isn't that difficult with such a small league.
If I may make some suggestions?
Mo Pet.erson
Jose Calderon
and even DeSagana Diop
will all make immediate contributions.
Lots more too... (keep an eye on Jordan Farmar, whose minutes look set to increase)

"I think that we've lost a few participants already... god that's sad."

yep don, with most of us leading hectic lifestyles that's reality isn't it?
Most days I've had like 2 minutes to set my roster before having to run out of the house....

LOL.... I do miss the days when I could scan the boxscores, read the latest fantasy news, and have to time to look at my team properly to see where I could improve through waivers and trades.... :(

Re:Fantasy League Reply to this message
could Shaq end up being the steal of the season? we'll find out but I never expected him to ever put up games of 26 and 14... could Wade be the catalyst? gives me a reason to keep an interest on my fantasy team :)

Re:Fantasy League Reply to this message
If you stream players in a H2H league you normally lose FG%,FT%,3pt% and TO's due to playing more players of lesser quality, with only 9 categories it means you have to win every other category to win the weeks contest which isn't easy even with streaming.

Re:Fantasy League Reply to this message
If your players are underperforming then bench them and use the games on players who are performing,If you waste 10 games at a position on a non performing player then that is going to really hurt you at the end of the season

Re:Fantasy League Reply to this message
yep don... but if I were facing you in H2H... all I'd have to do is keep some slots empty and then use the waiver wire to win my matchup or keep things close..

some consider it cheating and some regard it as fair game but that can't be done in points leagues...

Re:Fantasy League Reply to this message
Playing in 3 leagues ne0n, 2 head-to-head, one rotisserie - clearly there's more exciting when you're facing up against an actual opponent...
