Well I reckon Murphy will win one at some point, so I'm switching to Raines for the Rising Star.

i reckon raines will play most of his footy through the midfield, so that gives him a chance at a brownlow, who knows if anyone of the current crop will win one or not.
I would put raines alongside Murphy from what I have seen. |

There would probably still be arguments as to who will win the rising star but had he [played a fulls eason young Murphy from carlton would have been shoe-in.

Easy tiger, I haven't seen enough of Raines. But I have seen Pearce and Murphy, and I reckon either of them could develop into a Brownlow winner. Why? Do you feel Raines could win a Brownlow? If so, I appologise and let's add him to the list. It's an awsome group this year though isn't it?

i reckon raines might get it, but at the end of the day for pies fans we know that heater and thomas are great pick ups, rising star winners or not!

It's such an awsome crop this year, but the award is always ALWAYS given to the player most likely to win a Brownlow. I'll be dissapointed when Heath doesn't win it, but Murphy and Pearce are the only 2 I could see going on to win a Brownlow at this stage. Heath is magnificent, and I reckon he'll play a couple more than Tony Shaw, but I don't know that he'll ever win a Brownlow. :(
