I think its time that Brisbane said "thanks fitzroy for all your help but we really need to end this relationship now"..it was great while it lasted but the romance is dead...we need to find new age fans who are not sure yet if they want to follow Brisbane coz they feel we are carrying excess unwanted baggage which should have been sorted out already and now we live in fear of losing those yet to decide potential fans to the GC Team....
Go back to being the Bears and shake off the dregs of a long lost cousin from Vic....It's now or never.. |

Hardly worth Paddle Pop lion making an appearance in front of the so called 500 faithful Fitzroy supporters who rug up to see the handful of games the Lions play in Melbourne.
That would constitute a sell out crowd for a Port Adelaide home game. |

Surely the Lions mascot running around at the Gabba handing out Paddle Pop's on a warm night is a good thing for the kids(puts hand up...gimme chocalate one please....hahhahahaaa...y ummo). Maybe Streets could sponsor the Lions in the future???
As for the games in Melbourne? Hardly worth Paddle Pop lion making an appearance in front of the so called 500 faithful Fitzroy supporters who rug up to see the handful of games the Lions play in Melbourne. If anything the emblem reminds me more of one of the Lions on a pokie mnachine from the Black Rhino, or out of the movie, the Lion King. Or is it a caricature of Sir Michael Voss?
Fans are talking the last day in September already, and the search parties are out at the clubs looking for the disappearing Fev..haha |
