Bradshaw isn't going to the Roos, get your hand off it! :P
As for the Hawks pokies revenue - big deal! We don't rely on that to stay afloat, the Hawks are the most asset-rich club in Victoria (possibly the game) and they make some serious $$$ from real estate etc.
If the club was dumb enough to put all their financial eggs in one basket, they'd have to call themselves the Roos! |

and before people think North are in no position to draft Bradshaw we've lost.....
Simmo - no idea what he was being paid , but would've be a lot
Gibbo- over $200 000 large a season easy
Harris over $100 000
Power , Watt , Riggio their combined wage would be around 250 000 i would think.
And of course Jess W Smiff ... $ 3.85 cents a yr , we paid far to much unfortunately
Bradshaw... come on down:P |

lol browny shawks , no loss to the Roos as Brat pointed out- we'll now have a crack at a player in the PSD (don't now discount us taking Bradshaw)
But of more concern for you browns is the rumour floating around about pokies gambling being capped at 10% of their current takings. So $1 000 000 revenue would then be worth only $10 000 . Then we'll see some action , i reckon the Waverly Hawks < not sure why you call yourselves Hawthorn any more> or is the the Tassie/Waverly MaybloomsHawks and ya dodgey house of cards come a tumbling down.
Well i suppose as Tassie want a team full time , ya the obvious choice. |

what career? Its not like he did much at North, he could move to the Demons and rebuild his career there - getting fit, staying fit would be an improvement.
Considering that the Hawks already have Croad and Bailey on the sidelines for next season, question marks over Young & Ladson's futures then surely signing a kid who is no certainty to play just seems stupid and is putting added pressure on the rest of the players to not get injured. |

To think like Browny, you need to have been conceived after a drunken hook up between blood relatives, and your mother must've drank, smoked and sniffed petrol heavily throughout pregnancy.

You having another go at Port supporters nye? Dont they suffer enough! ;P |

I love how browny trolls with ludicrous posts, but everyone else responds with their own over the top bull5hit to get back at him - but that's what he wants!
Let him spin his 5hit and lets all just get on with our day! |

We appreciate that he has been restricted by injury over the past season and will undertake a modified training program accordingly.LOL , actually PMSL!! restricted by injury last season?? Yeah his 2008 was quite good he played 2 games that yr. I do hope Browns he gets his little girly body fit enough to take on the Roos in a game- i really do.But what would be more of a concern from a Hawks point of view is how little your own club rates its list.Seems to me ya doing a North of the mid 00's and these things nearly always end in tears.
would i swap picks 5 , 21 , 24 , 37 , 41 (which i think will move into a mid 30's pick by the time these clubs start taking the lame etc for Burgers , Gibbo , Smiff - not blardy likely.lol |

Playing injured players in 2008 cost the Hawks dearly in 2009. They got their flag in 2008 so good on 'em for that but think we've seen the best from this current squad.
Needle, needle, needle .... "yeah coach it feels good to play now".
2010 . . . . . can't wait. |

I suppose the Hawks perfected the art of playing an injured player so that he would become permanently crippled over the years with Buckenara and Croad amongst others . Jesse Smith will be the next in a long line in the Hawthorn conveyor belt of club first player welfare second
BTW browny, how is Zac Dawson doing at the Saints??
Maybe a thread " Lyon corrects Hawks mistake"?? |

Hawthorn Football Club confirms former North Melbourne Football Club player Jesse Smith has commenced pre-season training with the Hawks.
Smithâs management hasnât given any indication to Hawthorn as to his intentions ahead of the 2009 AFL National Draft and no commitment has been made by the Hawks to Jesse for 2010.
Chris Pelchen, Hawthorn General Manager Player Personnel and Strategy, confirmed Smith had commenced training with the Hawks at Waverley Park.
âThe Hawks are pleased to provide Jesse with an opportunity to train ahead of the 2009 AFL National Draft,â said Pelchen.
âWe appreciate that he has been restricted by injury over the past season and will undertake a modified training program accordingly.â |
