why is it whenever hawthorn is mentioned these days, there is some sort of controversy and references to gay activities.
Could it possibly be that they were indeed just a flash in the pan?
No, next year they are back!!! No injuries and Shaun Burgoyne is going to bring a much needed change, and star in the 3rd quarter.....hahahahaa
10th, hovering around 8th, but the Dockers do them over in WA and wave their season goodbye.....
Dynasty????
Pfffffffffffttttt...yep dermie, dipper, dunce and the fryer tuck are back..in the form of???? errrrrrr.....the tooth fairy |

Bradshaw isn't going to the Roos, get your hand off it! :P
As for the Hawks pokies revenue - big deal! We don't rely on that to stay afloat, the Hawks are the most asset-rich club in Victoria (possibly the game) and they make some serious $$$ from real estate etc
possibly most asset-rich in the world |

Matt, sure things could turn sour for Bradshaw and the Swans but I doubt that the gentlemen's agreements put into place will be reneged upon.
PSD, pick 5 - "Daniel Bradshaw, Sydney Swans" .. .. ya can count on it. |

| Ammmatt, the real estate came before the pokies. And, to continue your line of thought, what allows a club to invest in pokies? Buttons? :P |

| and genitalmen Bradshaw WILL play for who drafts him, not who the AFL or he wants- plenty of players don't end up at their club of choice. |

"If the club was dumb enough to put all their financial eggs in one basket, they'd have to call themselves the Roos!"
Well thank god the Pies never did this. It's almost like a non profit orginisation ation investing in speculative pubs! |

Yes, good luck to Dan Bradshaw. Hope he has a long and productive stint at the Swans. Or better still, he has a good year at Sydney, and gets released to the GC in 2011.
Probably lucky for the Lions that he didnt go to Carlton. Bradshaw is on 496 goals, and round 2 Carlton vs Brisbane at the Gabba would have been interesting should Bradshaw kicked his 500th during that game. |

Bit like Paul Roos himself ... never was a "superstar" but a good, honest footballer.
If we can get 50-70 goals from Braddy (mate ;)) then the chasing and cost will have been worth it. |

Bradshaw at the Swans will be a good fit - they are used to an old, bald bloke kicking all their goals! :P
Nah, great pick up by the Swannies and he'll be a massive asset.
The Swans have picked up some handy players - no superstars, but good, honest footballers. |

Bradshaw looks like he's enjoying training in Sydney ...
... can't wait for him to boot 5 + against the Lions. |

| Not surprising the Roos are in financial difficulties when their supporters think 10 % of a million is $10 000 :) |
