In America they also have sellout games to college football in stadiums that hold 100k, the cities will be packed on game day with people in pubs watching the game on tv - there is nothing like it, it is totally nuts, they are fanatics.
In Aus we get close to 100k on grandfinal day and around 90k a couple of times a yr if we are lucky - they do it every game. |

| They have sellout crowds in NFL because they have 60K stadiums for cities of 2m people with one team and 7-8 home games a season where travelling for away games is an expensive business. The owners dont always make large profits but are independently rich and sometimes lose money on the team as a tax write-off on other profits and use it as a rich mans plaything. |

| 20 teams one comp two conferences similar too the dear old USofA.the rules to their game suck but the way they orangise things doesn,t.just think about it they have a dog of a game with heaps of over paid players and staff yet for the most part they have sellout crowds with clubs making huge profits when the rest of their economy has gone belly up. why wouldn,t you grab some ideas from them.if they had a tuely watchable game like AFL -no its too scary to think of-best they stick with the dog they know and haen,t they given that poor mute a hidding |

Every so often some refugee from another footy code tips this *** out ... schizen !!!!
I saw the last attempt FULL of so much ............ so much deep thinking, joke joyce, fair dinkum !!!
How much would the value of the television rights fall in value - remember the last time Victorians watched a game without a Vic club in it, must have been a Grand Final, what about home & away.
Memo: this a country of 20 mil, not Europe or the US at 250 mil.
The far queue is full of fans of divisions in the AFL !! |
