| yes hawkafan english is my 2nd language so bear with me. obviously its yours too with all the incoherent spelling errors you made. seems we have a lot in common. you said everyone forgets we didnt have a full side team, i think that sounds like an EXCUSE. With the team the saints put out there on your home floor, you had YOUR CORE GROUP, and you could have added your mum n your dad n your dads dad and you still shoulda won. If it was geelong who lost, no doubt you would be saying lol at the cats who suck or something silly. And yes you did play s***, duh THATS WHY YOU LOST! You just needed to be average and show up and the win would have been routine, but the hawks who have been exposed and figured out this season are no where near as good as last year. You had injuries last year too, or do u ignore facts because it gets in the way of a good story? The good teams, win despite injuries. Something hawthorn just are not. As i said earlier, dew, and other 2nd rate players being out does not effect your team, as much as if your core was out at the same time. Which didnt happen.You still had your stars that day and the saints didnt have theres.But your so slow and probly cant comprehend what i say,and to that i say good day sir. It probly takes you 2 hours to watch 60 mins. No doubt you will attemp to come back with something witty, but fail miserably like before. I am fairly sure I have in other terms called it pathetic, but, when there are 7 new players in your starting 18...representing more than one third (>33%)...of your starting line up, you aren't exactly running around calling yourselves the Premiership team are you!!! |

(spelling) did bateman? enough excuses, you guys had a very fair reprensentation of last years team on the field that day AND the home field advantage. Im sure the cats who have only lost 4 games all year with more injuries than the hawks would have won that game, or at the absolute very least, been a bit more competitive. Your core group was playing, so what if dew wasnt? He helps your side but he doesnt MAKE it. Saints had 8 guys out and 6 of there BEST players. So much so were the hawks expected to win that they were installed as favourites against a team undefeated. Accept the loss as what it was....truly pathetic. |

| Couldn't beat the saints with all their players out. Sure, we lost, and we played shi_te, but what no one ever mentions is that we had a lot of players out too. Its not like we lost againt the Saints with a full strength side!!!!! |

| If it was a top 5 this season, 2 DESERVING finalists, Carlton and Adelaide, would be playing off for the last spot - what a game! In week 1 you'd have St Kilda with the week off to recharge while the Cats would play the Pies and the Dogs would meet the winner of Carl and Adel. All cracking games. I know the 8 is in for the $$$ it brings, but I am just stunned we have a chance for finals. |

| Just goes to show Nye how much you dont have to do make the eight, hey! You are correct again it is a blight and shows the massive differences betwen top middle and bottom... We dont deserve it after our year but we HAVE TO make it in order to save some face after last years efforts....
