| Oh for shame you lot! Have you stopped to consider, just for a minute, the feelings of Rbrown or fitz? No, too busy attacking these poor, defenceless, good hardworking people. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone! They come here, seeking like-minded individuals to share enjoyment of football, go for long walks on the beach and eat sushi, and what do they get? Such anger, such resentment. It makes me ashamed to be associated with such a forum. These good men, honest men, deserve not such treatment merely based on the teams they choose to follow, or the views they hold on the way the game is heading. Ask yourself, if you cut them, do they not bleed? If you hurt them, do they not cry?? oh f..k it.. sorry, just couldn't keep that up, or say it with a straight face.. |

I MIGHT be able to get tickets to the best seats in the house, centre wing, mid level, surrounded by suits though, but waiting to hear back.. of course 'she who must be obeyed' might veto the whole football idea but to be honest if I sell it to her that at least I will be out of the house for a few hours I don't see how she could say no! |

| Nath..So you have read every post (gold star for you), How about reading the first page again and the initial comments from others, who are neutral, to reinforce again what a stupid comment you made.. "Finals for finals sake"...easy comment to make when YOUR side hasn't been there for the last FOUR years..btw, you have to make the finals first, to have a chance at winning the Premiership.. "Heartbreak"...I would think 15 clubs suffer from this every year, at various stages, albeit from the mid-season realisation that your team wont make the finals, right through to the loser of the GF... eg/ Lions run last year- lost last 10 of 12 games to miss the finals..great example of "heartbreak".. Nath, At least take your potshots at Buckley, when he is actually in a senior coaching position, as not doubt many will on here, but to make a ridiculous statement that he has lost out on a position, which realistically he wasn't even in the frame for, is a joke.... |

| Is the possability of Bucks being Micks assisstant in a transition role a real chance. Going by this interview with Mick I think it is. Nathan arrived back from overseas recently. His name is obviously in the thick of things with two coaching vacancies, but when asked about those he also mentioned the word 'assistant', which was interesting. If you're in charge next year and there was a spot for him on your coaching panel, would you look to get him to Collingwood? (Mick)Well, that's academic. Would you be comfortable with it? Big NC, will be in the City of the Gods 23/7-27/7, not sure of movements as waiting to hear back from some people(another 'fact finding' mission.. plus it'll be warmer than here) but keep that weekend in mind as it's the north game, I finally managed to time a trip to Brisbane to coincide with a game! |

It explains how you can watch a lions game and still walk away so optomistic about their future. It explains how you and Fitzy can watch something and see something completely different to the general population. You are are both very delusional. And by all means share any knowledge you may think you have about any perceived birth defect i may have. It's all so clear now.....I wonder if its a common affliction of Lions fans. |

| Ah yes, i remember that "coward" comment..I directed it at fitz coz he didnt show up after a loss and as i remember correctly I had explained that i didnt mean coward as in his everyday life only a coward as in not showing up on yahoo after a loss...but anyway syndrome, quite a few times in your posts you have used insulting terms to certain posters on yahoo and all from behind your computer screen too.. So be careful of what you accuse people of doing as you do the same thing.. I'm sure fitz would have been called lots of things in his time and if he is offended by the comment i made at that time and should he desire an apology then he and i can discuss it.. until then may i suggest you practice what you preach? |

I never mentioned Corrie so not sure what you are getting at there, and finally I did say that a few weeks ago you were widening your avenues to goal and involving more players. Brennan, Clark, Dalziell, Viagra, Proud, Harding, Notting, McGrath, Hooper (11), Polkinghorne, Rich, Riskitelli, Power, Black, Johnstone, Stiller, Sherman (19) are all multiple goalkickers.. hell even Jason Roe has got on the goal sheet, and only st kilda and geelong have conceded less goals. Polkinghorne, Rich, Hooper and Sherman alone have 46 goals between them.. Seriously, never let the facts get in the way of a poor arguement will you? |

| well kaz it's like this. Cooper posted the thread and then quickly lost interest when he realized just how silly it was. I simply observed that Voss would have been coaching carlton if he hadn't priced himself out of the job. Then i was accused of Voss bashing to which I pointed out that I admire him very much as a player and captain. But when i pointed ut that as a coach I think he should move away from old game plans that clearly won't work against Top sides the brisbane faithful get all sooky and start to quote wild Fitzy facts about Collingwood games. Beats me how these things start. |
