| nye - I agree in respect to what you are saying but hawks midfield is probably a mile ahead of the bombers and carlton (they didn't finish 2nd just on Buddy's boot) |

Quick answer to the two questions:
Would Buddy have kicked more goals than Fev if he played for Carlton - I say YES, Buddy has more shots because of his ability to get the ball, not rely on being hit laces out. His work on the ground alone was worth 40 extra shots.
Would Buddy have kicked more at Essendon than Lloyd - see answer to Fev question!
Just my opinion, I just think Buddy creates more chances than he is given credit for. |

talking about irrelevant posts to the topic of conversation, doesn't it also lack of understanding of footy and general common sense, that in a topic which is congratulating Rhys Palmer for winning his award that someone would post a people voted poll which has no baring on the award, and because of its results it show disrespect to those that voted for the Rising Star award and also the AFL players because they voted for Palmer as best 1st yr player.
How about instead of just posting poll results you tell us how many people voted & where the poll came from. And if you want to continue to show disrespect for Palmer winning the awards he has over a Hawk, maybe you should go & start a new thread and stop the c.rap on this thread because its getting old & boring. Palmer won it fair & square so get over yourself. |

"Wrong thread brat "
sounds like you were aiming it at brat Alicia!
rbrown - those sort of polls that you used to argue your point are opinions from supporters who can choose the one player more then once in other words it can be rigged to make one player more popular then another .. just like those people who enter Australian Idol who have families who rack up huge phone bills just to keep them in the comp. |

brownoz - I posted that in reply to the previous post, maybe you would like to read that one 1st and then understand what my post was about.
I do understand football & I understand what its like to be gracious in defeat and not try to lay the blame with others for being racist or just too stupid because a player from my other team didn't win the award - maybe you could try & learn the latter. |

| By the way, where I live overseas I get to see 4-5 AFL games in full every week on my satellite Aussie TV and easily the 2 standouts so far this year have been the Cats and Rhyss Palmer. Buddy versus Fev is really a border line case, if Buddy played for the Blues would he have kicked more goals than Fev did, I have my doubts. |

PLease someone hand some suger to browny to get the taste of sour grapes out of his mouth.
Really Rioli flashes in and out of the game as most small forwards do. PAlmer is a midfielder and has enough quality to play 4 quarters of footy |

Browny, Rioli played well this season - Palmer was OUTSTANDING and a deserving winner of the award.
Does this mean Rioli won't be as good as Palmer next year? no, does it mean a friggin thing? nope.
Nice prize to win, but hardly worth worrying about! |
