| It's hardly in line with the thread but, in view of some posts, it seems some people will continue to bleat over a "lost" Premiership after fielding a recidivist, cynical thug who should have been suspended if not run off out of the game long past! As to not failing a drug test, neither did Ben Cousins, draw your own conclusions on that but, up to 46-60% of the population between 17 & 35 regularly participate in "recreational" drug use. Not sure if that "figure" quoted was inclusive of alcohol, tobacco etc. likely not! In line with the thread, Freo are the perrenial heartbreakers. With the street habits of an alley cat it is rumoured, they vacillate from the sublime to the ugly. A bit like some hubbies and wives are to each other! Look, in fairness to Harvey, as some have also said, cultural change does not occur with some magical sweep of the proverbial club and, the "velvet" elbow does not create Esprit de Corp. It is a process of healing, rebuilding or creating trust and, allowing people to assimilate into a cohesive element. Impatience is for fans, zealots and mischief makers. Patience is more likely to accompany a plan for success. Fail to plan, plan to fail. Kneejerks are for jerks! Fremantle vs Bullies is best left to consideration after the ego stroking farce this weekend. Accountability for both Freo and the West Coast is what should be sought. There is a difference between being beaten and just rolling over! |

| kiwisout, I've said this before, and will continue to say it - LUKE HODGE HAS NEVER FAILED A DRUGS TEST! That little list of players from an 'unnamed' club contained a couple of stars, not Hodge though. Hodge may come accross as a 'likely type' but he is so careful about what goes into his body - same as Sam Mitchell. These two are so professional and I hate to see innocent people getting defamed by idiots! |

| I'm glad the Egos have confronted their demons, they have rid themselves of some sh!t and it looks like they may have to go to the bottom/or near before they turn it around. It was a slow destruction at the club, We all know that drugs are a parasite and it DOES takes some time for health to resume after a parasite has struck (& hard). This is not for the individuals but for the club as well. I have a soft spot for the Egos, they are my 15th side. They will again rise to the top & that won't take a decade, it will be within 5 years. The winning culture and the football minds at the Egos are as good as it gets so NOTHING is out of the question. No, don't want you to change clubs ... last thing I want you to do. I love slinging sh!t your way, you're a trooper ;) ... really DO have a soft spot. |

| What do you want me to do? Support another team? Don't think so mate, Eagle for life. We've had our fair share of troubles which unfortunately got played out in the open. I'm sure other clubs have had similar but been kept behind closed doors. Some other club will go through it soon and the Eagles might get a bit of breathing room. |
