Pretty sure last 3 times the Eagles came to AAMI they beat the Crows. Doesn't do much for your theory with these 2 sides.

last years finals series only one team out of 6 was able to catch a plane and win a game . round 1 only the katz won catching a plane out of 5 teams that caught a plane . 11 plane catchers only 2 winners suggests rd 2 goes something like this .
LIONS v pies
FREO v hawks
CROWS v eagles
SWANS v power .
